I used to come here with my grandfather, so I was excited to share this place with my kids. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. First off, food was cheap, reminded me of school cafeteria food. The ice cream tasted, I don't...fake? Chemically or processed? It just wasn't good. The table was so small, we had two adults and 2 children at a 4 seated table. We could hardly fit our 4 food baskets, 4 cups, the napkin holder, amd water pitcher. It was so cramped. And chairs were uncomfortable. My husband had to ask for clean to go containers, because ours came back with dirt on it. But the final straw was the attitude from the hostess (who may also have been the owner or manager 🤷♀️). There was a discrepancy on the bill. We ordered two children's sandwiches and we were charged adult prices. My husband asked why that was and she said, "You have to be really specific when ordering. Because we don't know just know." He responded, "pointing to the kids menu and asking for 2 kids grilled cheese is pretty clear". She just looked at him, smirked, and asked how he wanted to pay his bill. Honestly, our kids were hungry and they finished off the adult sizes they were given so it really wasn't a big deal that we ended up paying extra because they did indeed eat extra. It was just the lack of empathy, and attitude she gave. Some understanding and a heartfelt apology go a long way. Not worth coming to a dirty, want-to-be Leatherby's run by people who have a bad attitude and don't care about their business' service, cleanliness, or the satisfaction of...
Read moreEvery time I go I get one thing. Anthony's Blondie. Butter pecan ice cream with a blonde brownie, caramel on top with almonds. Always hits the spot, but when I go its either with my wife or a friend. And they always mess up their order, for example, a chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream and some fudge. The brownie was undercooked and paper thin. Ordered another brownie and was the same. Another situation was when we ordered a grilled cheese, the sandwich just wasnt good, either not toasted enough, burnt or not enough cheese!!. Even though Anthony's Blondie is good, its not worth the hassle anymore. Last but not least I dont feel welcomed, we walk in and are asked how many and then a gentleman comes and asks are we ready, takes our order and thanks us. As we leave we are told the amount and leave. No " how was it", " was everything to your liking", not even a Thank you for coming, as if they're doing us a favor for being open. To some they are asked these questions all the time, but unfortunately for us, friends and family that is not the case. Thank you rosemarys for the past but I...
Read morePSA: They are not LGBTQIA+ friendly!!! THEY ARE VERY HOMOPHOBIC RUN FAR AWAY! I came here for a date night with my girlfriend because we both have never been here before. They were packed so we thought it was the spot to go (little did we know that we were wrong, wrong, wrong!!!). We were not greeted when we entered. They looked at my girlfriend and I like we were the plague, never asked if we wanted a table, nor were they even friendly.
The first person that came up to us said "Do you want a table or what?" We didn't even know that you had to wait to be seated because no one was nice enough to tell us when we walked in. After being seated, we waited 30 minutes before someone took our order, 30 WHOLE MINUTES!!! Now here is the part that made us leave. We waited ONE HOUR for ice cream!!!! We never had it served to us, we just walked out and left! NEVER AGAIN! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ICE CREAM PARLOR!!! Next time we are going to Dewars Ice cream shop. ROSEMARY CLEARLY DOESNT LIKE ANYONE WHO IS...
