Spencer's Cafe — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Spencer’s Cafe is one of my fiancé and I’s top spots to visit, whether it's just the two of us, with family, or friends. We love coming here for a late breakfast and always look forward to enjoying some fresh, delicious coffee. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we truly appreciate the friendly staff who always make us feel welcome. It’s the perfect place to relax, eat, and enjoy great company.

My favorite thing to order is the classic eggs and bacon breakfast with country potatoes – it’s always cooked to perfection and so satisfying. If you’re in the mood for something indulgent, be sure to try the biscuits and gravy at least once. It’s filling but oh so good, and the flavors are spot on.

For those with a sweet tooth, I highly recommend trying their Swedish pancake breakfast with Marion Berry. It’s a real treat – light, fluffy, and bursting with flavor.

All in all, Spencer’s is a fantastic spot for any occasion, and we can’t wait...

I don't eat out often, but I wanted to get a late breakfast. I live near this Spencer's. There was a 20-minute wait at 10:30 on a Saturday, but it went fast. My biggest problem was the waitress wasn't mindful of us. First, I'm obviously a senior, but when I ordered off the senior menu, I got the full plate, I couldn't eat it all, and I paid for a regular portion. I told the waitress. She shrugged and said, "I'm sorry, I guess I should've asked." I let it slide. Also, I asked for fruit instead of potatoes, and we had a little discussion about what fruit was available. But, she forgot, and by the time we saw her, she was bringing the check.

I had French toast and eggs, hold the meat, and my son had a sausage scramble. The food overall was good. I think I could've been more of a squeaky wheel, but honestly, I didn't feel like working...

My brother treated me to breakfast . I had the nacho breakfast served by Debbie. Great big meal. Very friendly.

9/01/19 Tried the senior breakfast 1/2 Belgian waffle, 1 egg, 2 bacon, 1 orange slice, and toast. It was the perfect portion. Restroom was spotless!!

09/14/19 10:30 am every seat taken and waiting for a table. About 15-20 minute wait. So very very busy but staff was well spectacular!!! Senior waffle breakfast great again. 1 /2 Belgian waffle, 2 bacon , 1 egg, 1 orange slice. Two syrup containers and whipped butter on waffle. No toast or juice...I must have added that last time as a side. Restroom needed attention but was...
