Wendy's — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I see the bad reviews, but fortunately I didn't have a bad experience. I used the drive-thru and there was a few cars in front of me. Surprisingly, the line went pretty fast. I'm use to waiting forever at a Wendy's drive-thru so this was a plus for me.

I waited for about 5 minutes to get to the speaker. Not bad at all. Then maybe another 5 minutes to get to the window. A 10 minute wait over all.

When I ordered at the speaker I didn't have any problems. I asked for 2 Jr bacon cheeseburger and 2 small chilis. They gave me my total and I drove up.

When I got to the window the cashier smiled and repeated my order. I told her that was correct. I payed and they already had my food ready.

I didn't wait at the window. I basically just payed and they handed me my food. I was a bit impressed, but I checked to see if everything was inside the bag.

I opened the bag and saw my order was all there. They asked me if everything was fine. I told them I was just making sure I wasn't missing anything.

What they didn't put inside the bag and I didn't notice were napkins. I didn't mind as long as I wasn't missing any of my food.

I give them 4 stars because the drive-thru went fast. Something I never experience at a Wendy's. Also, the cashier was greeted me with a smile and I didn't have to wait for them to make my food...

I went into Wendy's Oswell location and it was a very unusual experience. I myself, am a single mother of three children, so i understand if you have to take your kids to work...BUT when the child is spitting spit wads...that's another story. Last Saturday i went into the store about 2pm. I sat down and noticed these kids by themselves. They made friends with my kids.As we were about to eat the kids come up to us. I felt uncomfortable eating in front of them and asked if they were hungry. They said yes. I gave them my nuggets and fries. The kids told me that their mother worked there. Then the little boy started spitting spit wads...i told him to stop. He continued and a spit wad went into my daughters bag of food. The kids then started creating lots of noise. They were on the ground pretending to be horses. Which i get it...they're kids....BUT i feel the mother should have spoke up and told them to keep it down. I myself told the kids that they shouldn't be doing that...that their mom could get in trouble. The boy said, "no she won't" and continued on. By then i was ready to leave....

I went to Wendy's tonight after a very long day to grab a quick meal so I could rest for the evening. The drive thru was pretty full so I decided to call my sister while I was waiting. That wait behind 8 cars lasted 25 mins! That number is not exaggerated because I checked my phone call time on my phone. The wait seemed like it was for ever! I asked for A single cheese burger and the new baked potato with bacon and mushrooms. The order taker says now that's a mushroom burger? No just a regular cheese burger and the mushroom baked potato. I look at the screen an it shows the cheese burger minus ketchup minus tomato minus tomato minus ketchup... And I am trippin'! I don't know what all that other you have written down is, I just want (repeated the order). Ok that's a cheese burger and baked potato with mushroom and bacon right?? Yes!! Oh yeah, we are all out of mushrooms!! I still wanna know why he didn't start out with that little tidbit... Any way that is a half hour of my life I will...
