I’ve visited this place quite a few times, it’s right around the corner from my house, so I really tried to give them a chance I frequent many Mexican restaurants so my opinion is based on that. The 3 salsas they give you are good. The Mole is ok but it’s just a thin, dry chicken breast with Mole sauce on top…sometimes they have it, sometimes they don’t.. It’s not cooked in the mole sauce, or on the bone like traditional mole. Taco Tuesday is I guess left over meat that they didn’t sell on the weekend because the beef fajita is charred and dry. Thank goodness I had the salsa and limes to add moisture. Now this is what got me. I know it’s taco Tuesday and you have to make your money back someway but they charged $6 for 1 scoop of rice and 1 scoop of beans. The rice and beans were more than the 5 tacos I ordered…lol. I actually like some of their food but it is a bit overpriced. $14 for a bowl of Caldo? Now these prices I would expect to pay at a fancier restaurant like Mi Cocina or Primos but the food quality and ambiance and service is also better at those places. Now for those that don’t mind paying top dollar for mediocre food and service then this is the place for you. But if you’re looking to get authentic home cooked style Mexican food then this ain’t it. Take the time to drive to a better place like Gonzales off of Lake June or many other places...
Read moreIf I could put zero stars I would. Me and my handicapped sister and my fiancé all went to the at there tonight and was APPALLED. The server treated us like trash she screamed at us she tried to yank my sisters food out her hand and messed our orders up, my sister ordered CHICKEN fajitas and they gave us mixed fajitas, I ordered cheese enchiladas DOUBLE RICE NO BEANS came with double beans when I told her it was wrong she got a attitude with me took it back and brought out cheese enchilada with white rice I told her I didn’t ask for white rice and she stated that was all they had when my sister and fiancé BOTH had Mexican rice. When the hill came and they charged us for mixed fajitas we told her that wasn’t what we ordered she then proceeded to argue with me and stated she didn’t mess my order up that if it wanted Mexican rice I would have asked WHEN I DID ASK for it. She then continued to argue with me and then blamed us. This is absolutely disgusting behavior. I will NEVER be back and I’ll be calling first thing in the morning to speak to an owner. The server doesn’t deserve to be working there. Next time she tries to yank food out of my handicapped sisters hands it won’t end well. If I was you I would steer away...

Salsa's were mediocre at best. The servers were nice and quick, the location and cleanliness were also good. To speak about the food, the steak had some skin so hard to chew for some pieces. Was also upset for the following. Ordered Shrimp a la Mexicana, which menu has with side of beans, rice, Pico, onions (grilled at option) and guacamole.
When I received my order, with 6 shrimps (not flavorfull), side of beans (topped with cheese) and rice, with Pico for 14 😳 I asked for the side of guac, server mentioned menu had changed. I asked again if I was to get the side nonetheless, she said she was sorry and it doesn't come with it, again because the menu changed.
At no time during ordering did she mention this. This made me feel uncomfortable and the server had a 'I don't care face. The tips for my family, which is added automatically if 6 or more ppl, was over 30. This frustrated me, but did not mention anything.
I will definitely not be coming back. The ratings on yelp is acrually more aligned with the flavor and service of this place than the ratings on Google maps. Definitely not 4 starrs, most probably 2 to 3 stars, not considering the food, which should be...
