Golden Chick — Restaurant in Balch Springs

Possibly the work Gilden Chick I’ve ever been too. (Strike 1) Tried to order a chicken sandwich at 9:30pm after work “all we have leftover is fried chicken.” 🍗 asked if it’s been sitting under the heat lamp “well sir, it’s 9:30 and we close at 10 so this is what we have. Ok…bye….sill take my money elsewhere

(Strike 2) Went back a week later and same thing except ar 9:30 they were out of chicken “all we have are chicken patties left…we’re about to close.

(Strike 3) this time I tried to go during the day and order around 2:30pm. Went through my whole order and went to order extra rolls…”sorry sir…we’re out of rolls.” Huh? How do you run out of rolls at Golden Chick during the day on the weekend?

Now…I’ve been coming to this location since it opened and it’s only in the last few months they’ve had these problems so it definitely a managerial/employee issue. What they don’t realize is bad customer service in this area will shut a place down. Will be surprised if they last 1-2 more years in this location if...

I had to come back and edit my review to add another employees name. It’s always a pleasure coming here honestly. I love all of the workers especially Claudia and Gabriel. They are both absolute sweethearts🥰 The food here is always freshly made and quick to receive after ordering. My daughter and I frequently come here when it’s been a long day and I don’t feel like preparing a meal. 9 times out of 10, I’ll ask what my daughter is in the mood to eat and it’s always Golden Chick🤭 I think what makes this location special is bc we are frequent customers here they recognize my order, maybe even my voice and repeat our usual order back to me by memory. Worst I can give, this location, is 1 star. But it’ll never deserve that. For the last YEAR, I’ve watched this location dwindle into the absolute worst Golden Chick, I’ve ever been to. I go because it’s local. But I’d rather travel 15 minutes down the road for the next location. Food is one or the other, cold as ice, or missing. Evidently everybody there is the “shift manager” so be prepared for the run around when you want what you paid for. This location is poorly managed, poorly operated, and not worth the space it takes up. I’d rather it be some dinky Chinese spot than a golden chick. RETURN AT YOUR...
