I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant. It was friday and womens day and i just wanted to enjoy the night with my significant other but instead had a boring night due to the works of this establishment making up laws! I can’t figure out for what reason they wouldn’t let me drink because of my ID ,im 21 and it say it on my ID but they wouldn’t accept it because its a vertical ID. Im disabled I have no other form of identification except for my state ID which happens to be vertical. Im not sure what the serves name was but he was a hispanic male who told me that they do not accept vertical IDs and it says it in the menu…I looked in the menu and saw nothing about the ID being vertical to be valid it olny stated” MUST BE 21 WITH A FORM OF IDENTIFICATION” My server even brought up talking to the manager which I took up because he just works there I know that. Then the manger comes and makes it worse they never even introduced themselves or apologized for the inconvenience they had told me that it was actually against the law even after i explained to them that this is my only form of identification I keep on me because im disabled i can’t drive so of course i don’t have a license like my significant other who was able to order with their ID which was their license. One thing about it is I know the law maybe the manger thought I was stupid or something im not sure but for them to tell me its a law when its literally not is insane! I would’ve understood if it was a policy but no the “manager” told me it was a law, I even asked her which law is it and she couldnt even tell me , you know why because theres no such thing. Im still disappointed because the restaurant seems very nice and maybe i just came on the wrong day but I definitely do feel like this night i was discriminated against and as a paying customer I dont think restaurants should lie to their customers and I have years of restaurant experience so I know something had to be up or it was simply...
Read moreProbably won't return.... It started off nice No wait time to be seated... We looked over the menu and thought we all knew what we wanted... One of the items said pick two seafood items a minimum of two and it comes with vegetables okay sounded good when it came to order she says yes you have to pick two and pay for both 🙄 I said okay what if I just want one she basically looked at me and strugged her shoulders atp I was instantly irritated.. okay whatever we ordered food was okay The one thing that was horrible was the fried cheesecake The picture looks outstanding but when you taste it it's nothing but a toaster strudel waste of money... now we ready for the bill... Ms 30inch buss down is nowhere in sight... We had a reservation somewhere else so we was trying to make that.. we asked the other waitress Hey can you let her know we'd like the check she goes okay at that point our waitress comes up behind her we see her tell our waitress they would like the check... NOTHING!! We waited over 20 minutes just to receive the check..for 20 minutes we literally just sat at the table and watched everybody else eat and walk around she walked past our table over 10 times she could have easily dropped the check at the bottom of the table.. it wasn't until we got our check that we noticed they add The gratuity automatically... Read moreFood is good when prepared properly but unfortunately the customer service sucks! I have ordered from here for years but the past two times I have had issues. Most recently my seafood was over cooked to the extent of tasting like rubber. I called and let them know I would return the entire bag and I would like to have it remade properly. I was told to just request a refund from whatever company I ordered through and that I could not talk to a manager due to them being preoccupied. I told them that I ordered directly from the website and was not interested in a refund anyway, but simply having it remade properly. Whoever I was speaking to said that they would now try getting the manager, I was left on hold for 14 mins, and then hung up on. I then called chownow to request the refund AS INSTRUCTED, to which the manager BLANCA decided only refund 12 dollars due to ONE of my complaints about the shrimp when in reality she had never even spoken to me to understand my issues. The entire bag was overcooked, I simply said the shrimp tasted rubbery. I made it clear they could either approve the entire refund or simply remake the bag.
