All the kinds of tea! I got BUBBLE TEA (I did NOT expect them to have it), as well as a hot loose leaf tea and tuna on toast. Service was good, it is not assembly line fast, but it's exactly what you would want from a tea shoppe: timely, but not stressed) the propriétaire was super personable, suggesting teas, directing other employees what to do, letting customers know how/when to wait, and bringing out (I don't know if it's a family business, but there was a young man helping out, it looked like he was learning and they were very patient with him. I appreciated that).
The tuna on toast was delicious. It's hard to mess up tuna salad, but I don't know what kinds of seasonings they put in..... It was possibly the best tuna salad sandwich I've had, delicious in its simplicity. I almost cannot speak of the cheese sandwich. It was grilled cheese perfection, beautiful melty cheese overflowing the sides, lightly pressed (as ALL respectable cheese sandwiches should be), and crispy crunchy.
Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend, I will be...
Read moreFirst time here. Parking was easy, right across street. Variety of teas, Chai and coffee all looked good. There was only one lady working, and she didn't say hello, welcome, nothing. Waited at the counter for a few, while she finished another customers order. After she gave him the order, she asked very emotionless "what do you want?" I was going to add a Chai tea, but she never gave me the chance to, and never asked if I wished for anything else. She handed me my pastry after she took the next customer order, with a look of sheer annoyance. Guess if you aren't a regular, you aren't welcome? And the pasties and bagels, all generic store bought. Was hoping with so many local bakeries maybe a partnership would happen with local coffee shops. Hopefully the lady working was just having a bad day, and she doesn't regularly treat...

First visit: I ask to use the toilet as I'm about to place my order, as there's a sign that says "No public restroom". Her response is the toilet is broken. Really? I leave. I'd rather support somewhere where I can also use the toilet.
Second visit: I order a drink and ask for a cup of water. She said she's out of cups. It's a coffee shop, the whole store is full of cups. She just didn't want to use an extra disposable cup, wash a glass, or figure it out as to accommodate a customer.
Neither time did I feel this woman was accommodating, hospitable or valued me as a customer. Find someone else who actually enjoys their job, interacting with customers and makes them feel like they...
