Food was good but portions were tiny.
I ordered tonight through DoorDash, and had high hopes because of the excellent ratings. However, I knew that something was wrong when I saw the small size and felt the lightness of the bag. The Crab & Cheese Wontons (5 of them) were tasty but small. I do see on my receipt that it says Crab & Cheese Wonton Bites, which is NOT what it said on the online menu. I asked for duck sauce & crispy noodles, which show on the receipt, but got none. The main dish was Shrimp with Cashew Nuts. This is an easy dish that I've ordered many times from many restaurants, but never got such a mini serving before! The bowl was small, but even so it was only half full. Costing $14, it contained 6 shrimp, about one dozen small cashews (the size you get in a snack machine pack) and a handful of veggies in a good but skimpy sauce. Although the rice box contained fragrant pink rice, it was the smallest box I have ever seen, half or less of the normal size. I'm so disappointed and still hungry. If I had been at the restaurant, I would have asked for the manager and questioned the tiny portions sold at full dinner price. This would not have been enough for lunch. The middle photo shows all of the cashews that were included (they were under the shrimp when I...
Read moreWe were in the Baltimore area and on our way back wanted to have Thai food. I searched quickly and found this one with great reviews. We read on the reviews that getting a parking spot is an issue and that is definitely true. But we found something on a 8 min walk. As soon as we entered, I found the place to be very welcoming and warm. We were immediately attended and given a seat.
Items we ordered:
Overall a great experience and the customer service was exceptional. The servers were very caring and sweet. They made sure you were satisfied with the food.
If you are in the area, please do not miss this. Even if it's a 10 min drive from the downtown. I would definitely visit again if I am...
Read moreNot the worst thai food, but just lazily put together. More of a bar-type of establishment than traditional thai. Slightly loud at 6:30PM. Service was good. Would be okay for a drink and bite to eat.
Red curry with chicken: $13. Portion medium. Medium spicy. Rice okay. Curry flavorful but a bit salty and thin for my taste, nothing special. Pumpkin pieces were good but only 3 pieces total. B-
Thai basil chicken: $13. Portion medium. Medium spicy. Rice same as curry. Two small whole chicken breasts (no knife provided) sitting in a flavorful but thin brown sauce and red/green peppers + onions with relatively unseasoned broccoli and cauliflower added. Sauce, onions, and peppers were clearly cooked together/separately and added to the chicken (which tasted totally different in a bland way) and broccoli (which also had little flavor). Disappointing that it was done that way. Why not cook everything together...
