Ordered chicken Tikka masala, beef seekh, and paneer wrap with garlic naan through the online ordering option. Order said it would be ready between 7:00 and 7:20.
I arrived at the restaurant at 7:00. The heater was not working and I could soon see my breath in the cold. I waited in the restaurant until 8:50 when the food was finally ready. I took the food with me, and when I finally opened it up, the only correct food was the paneer wrap; the plates ended up being some dry chicken and a shrimp dish. And to top it all off, the naan was just plain naan.
Overall I spent $55 and only received one of the four items I ordered correctly. I understand that there were only two people working there, so the fact that I had to wait over two hours from ordering the food was understandable, but to have the order almost entirely wrong and not even remotely warm when I received it was rough.
Hopefully this restaurant gets more staff soon and is able to handle orders more efficiently next time. If I had received the dishes I ordered, instead of dry chicken and shrimp, and it had taken an hour less time, I would have been satisfied, but with the experience I had I do not plan...
Read moreThe best Indian and Nepali in the City! I walked in and the restaurant smelled like my family's home cooking.
There was only one person running the restaurant while some friends and I dined in. While they were slammed with takeout orders, the service, wait time, and food were impeccable. The man running the restaurant was great to talk to and was extremely generous! He really has a mastery of the spices as each individual one comes through just right and you can really tell he cares about the food he makes and that people enjoy it.
Everything we ordered knocked it out of the park. The naan was fluffy and soft with a crisp exterior. Not one piece was even close to rubbery, which is consistently served at most of the other restaurants in the area.
I have eaten a LOT of Indian and Nepali food in my life, and I've never had better naan or tandoori chicken than here. The chicken vindaloo was so tender it practically fell off the bone. The mango chutney rivaled my mom's. I can't believe the prices are such a steal. Such good food and even better value. So glad I found this place. It's been a week and I'm...
