I lived in the area for almost 30 years but never tried this place, so today my family placed an order for 5 people to see if we can add it to our list of local businesses to order from. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that other people said their food was okay. My food was the worst I've had in many years. I ordered a crab cake platter. There was no crab in there. It's "mixed with eggs and bread crumbs" - no, it was just bread. Two bread patties. No smell or taste of crab anywhere. I'm not sure if they were out of crab and decided to go with only bread or that is their usual recipe, in which case how do they get away with it? I imagine that most people in Baltimore had crab before. I've had crab cakes in restaurants, made them at home, and bought frozen ones - all kinds, but I've never had to eat fried breadcrumb mush pretending to be crab before. French fries were 1 out of 10, I threw them away. The crab cake platter consisted of: two bread patties, barely edible french fries, a few small pieces of lettuce, one onion string, and two tiny slices of white/pink tomato (the tasteless kind). I also ordered one raita. I had amazing Indian yogurt with cucumbers a few years ago and felt like getting one again. It was described as "spiced with diced cucumber & tomatoes." It tasted like diluted vinegary kefir. Nothing like the one I had before. Neither the "crab cake platter" nor the raita was worth trying. At least now I know where not to go for take-out in the neighborhood. Negative experience is...
Read more"Final Order". I usually order by using the "Slice" app and there is always a problem with the order. This time there was confusion in the menu and my chicken was sent without sauce. We called and asked if they could simply send us some sauce. The "manager" stated that we would have to go thru the Slice app to correct it,how? By ordering 9 more dollars worth of food to simply get sauce. He also mentioned about how he would lose out on another delivery fee. Well, I drove down to the store and guess what? He told me he would not add sauce to my chicken even when I offered to pay for it! See, here is the deal. When you order by using the app they can't up charge you for using your credit card( which is usually more than they pay for fees), and slice gets a cut of the proceeds. I questioned him about that and he stated,"Well I got to pay for the machine somehow", The credit card machine is for the convenience of the patron, not a profit making device. This is why I ordered thru the app in the first place and I never patronize any company that charges for this convenience. The last time I ordered, the driver mentioned he did not have change and kept my money. I had to wait a week, as they evaded me, before I could get refunded, and only after I made another order. This place has the worst service ever and they are in no way customer friendly. My last dollar has been spent with...
Read moreYeah, I loved it. 5 stars. I ordered for delivery through a third party app. The food was delivered quickly and was fresh and hot. (At least what was supposed to be hot). I ordered 2 x-large pizzas, one that was supposed to be half pepperoni, half cheese, it came with all pepperoni. Not something I am going to complain about. My kiddo LOVED the pizza. I also ordered a x-large deluxe pizza, and it was phenomenal. I loved all the toppings and the proportions of them. I think they must also put some sort of unusual seasoning on the pizza because I kept detecting this really groovy flavor. Whatever it was, it was great. Lastly, I ordered the "shrimp salad" which is a large garden salad topped with shrimp salad. I chose the Greek dressing and the whole thing was really tasty! Thanks Mt Washington! We will order again soon! I look forward to trying the Indian...
