KANOM Cafe — Restaurant in Baltimore

I truly love this little cafe in our neighborhood. My daughter found it out and took me there once, and now we are all in love with it. I meet my friends there for morning coffee and tea; my husband sneaks out of the house to have his secret croissant and coffee there in the mornings; my daughter takes her friends there for a special treat. Even our guests who visit us occasionally would stop by to pick up their favorites. The ambiance is warm and cozy. Lots of Hopkins students study there. The owner's family is very sweet- the two young boys sometimes help in the store. The older boy handles the cashier registrar efficiently while his younger brother watches the iPad. The raspberry mousse was really good! The raspberry mousse was very creamy and sweet and I liked that it was paired with chocolate cake bottom which was just the right amount of sweet. Yum 😋 The prices are veryyyyy pricey tho because most pastries and cakes here are $9 so with tax my raspberry mousse was $9.54 😱 for something that is like six mouthful amount. I would definitely come back because the lady at the counter is nice but I will probably get only one pastry at a time and only the ones I can’t easily make at home 🥹

Such a nice little cafe! Cute, chic, and modern at the same time! A great place to do work, hang out a little and read a book, and get delicious food. Their pastries are divine! Their croissants are large, fluffy, buttery, and lovely. Their desserts are decadent, I love the macarons, found the toasts so savory, and the lemon spritzer so refreshing! They are very accommodating and friendly. It is also the only restaurant or cafe in the walkable area. Such a nice cute little find that I will definitely be going to daily!
