My first go to cinébistro was probably one of the best experiences that I have ever had at any movie theater ever. The service was amazing, food tastes great and was overall a very pleasant experience even with the very high cost compared to any other theater chain. My second and last trip was the exact opposite. I could have arguably had a better time watching a movie from netflix on my phone while sitting inside a McDonalds. I will not be coming back solely off how terrible everything went this time. Everything they did right the first time they completely failed this second time.

First the menu and food. The menu online does not match what they have in the theater. The online menu lists crab cakes with truffled fingerling potatoes, green beans and avocado tartar sauce for 30 dollars. The menu in the theater now lists crab cakes with French fries and coleslaw for the exact same 30 dollars. There is an obvious quality difference between these two menus. My first trip was with the original menu and the food tastes like it was worth the menu price. This trip was disgusting. I didn't know it was possible to burn a crab cake until today. Truly amazing. The fries just were some generic reheated garbage that you would find at any regular chain restaurant.

The service. The service was not just terrible from one problem employee. The entire staff as far as I could see was terrible with the management included. First one of the dishes just never came out at all. We never had the same employee so there was obviously a ton of miscommunication between the staff. We had 2 different employees say that it would be out in five minutes each at 15 minutes apart. 3 hours later the movie is over. So we went to the concession stand to attempt to get a refund for the undelivered food. Of course only a manager would be capable of issuing a refund. So we stood to the side to wait and were able to observe just how inept the entire staff actually is. In the 25 minutes we stood waiting for a manager we got to observe the staff bring out the wrong food and drink to 2 different customers and have to proceed to go back to the kitchen to fix their mistakes. We also got to see a customer order a pitcher of some beer and a glass of cider but instead was given the opposite. He then had to wait for another few minutes for staff to again fix their mistakes. Of course this entire time he is missing parts of the movie he paid for. Eventually after waiting the 25 minutes we decided it just wasn't worth waiting for 9 dollars. This delay just ended up costing us more for parking since it put us over the 4 hour limit. Thanks for that cinébistro management.

Value. Do not bother with cinébistro. Do yourself a favor and go to a nice restaurant and then go to a different movie theater. Cinébistro is just not worth the cost especially when they are clearly cutting the menu back without...

I emailed the company and never received a response so I am posting this here. On Monday my husband and I went to see the Super Mario Bros movie at 7pm. We decided to wait to get tickets at the theater to avoid paying the convenience fee. We arrive and notice 4 employees standing around near the entrance and one did greet us which was nice. We located the kiosks to purchase tickets and when I went to finalize payment the message came up that I would have to go to the counter and a receipt printed out. The receipt paper was almost out as well.

I proceeded to go to the counter with an older lady standing there alone and she said I would have to go to the concession stand to pay. We go to the concession stand and see 3 employees and I go to the nearest register. I hand her the receipt and let her know which showing I wanted. I also ordered a movie snack pack. She rung it up and told me the total and I pull my cash out. She asked was I paying cash and I replied yes so she motions that I have to go to another register.

She had very poor communication with us. The other young lady moves us to the last register and she never asked which movie we were seeing so I assumed she knew from the other employee ringing us up. So she paused a few times and said that the register wasn’t working. Then she gave me a total of $38.60. I hand her two $20 bills. She then looked more confused and said something was wrong. So we are just standing there. The first young lady walked off and got another employee, a gentleman with short blonde hair and he looked puzzled when he approached the register. He then asks if we were paying cash or card and I reply cash. I said the young lady is holding my money in her hand. He then says “well I was just asking”. Then he says it was a problem because the screen said The Fast and the Furious and that they don’t have that. I stare in disbelief and state we were there to see Mario Bros. At that point I asked for my two $20 bills back and we left. Such a disorganized mess. Between the 8 employees there no one knew how to tender my cash and hand me my tickets. My snack pack was incomplete as well because the young lady couldn’t locate the fruit snacks. Such a shame. I understand the work force is different but tonight was disappointing in every way. I want The Warehouse movie theater to thrive, and I'd like to continue patronizing it, but they need to improve staff training and ensure patrons adhere to the rules. My wife and I watched a movie on a Sunday night that began after 9 pm and ended around 11:30 pm. We purchased our tickets and popcorn without any issue. However, when we went to the bar, there was no one there initially, so we waited for about five minutes until a barmaid returned. I ordered two gin and tonics, but she poured the gin into short shot glasses. I requested larger glasses with ice and tonic, which she happily provided. Unfortunately, we later discovered that she had used soda water instead of tonic. This is a very basic mixed drink, and I believe it's a standard request.

As the movie started, we were disappointed to see that Closed Captions were turned on, which were very distracting and occupied a quarter of the screen. I went to the front concession stand where two young ladies and a gentleman, likely in their late teens or early twenties, were the only staff present. I informed them that Closed Captions were on in screen 4, and people were complaining. The two girls backed away silently, while the gentleman, in a friendly manner, asked me what "Closed Captions" meant. I explained that it's when the characters' spoken words appear on the screen. He said he would try to remove them but thought it might be unlikely. Fortunately, the Closed Captions disappeared about 20 minutes later, so kudos to him for addressing it.

During a quiet scene in the movie, we heard a baby crying, and we weren't sure if it was part of the movie or from the theater. It turned out that a couple had brought their infant, who was less than 18 months old, in a car seat. The baby became increasingly noisy throughout the movie, despite the parents repeatedly trying to shush it and giving it a drink from a big gulp cup with a straw.

Moreover, the pervasive smell of weed from other patrons was overwhelming, and when mixed with the scent of cheap perfume, we had to cover our noses. After the movie ended, we left in a rush, and my wife forgot her glasses. I returned the next day and retrieved them promptly from a helpful staff member.

I understand that not all of these issues are directly the fault of The Warehouse, but I wanted to convey an overall impression of our experience. Despite these challenges, we'll give it one more chance and...
