My most recent order was on October 10, and it will likely be my last one unless there are some changes. I would strongly recommend that the restaurant not offer a late-night menu if a qualified cook isn’t available.

I typically order the same dishes and have always enjoyed them, but this last experience was a severe disappointment and frankly a waste of $60. I ended up throwing everything away and going to bed hungry.

The last two times I’ve ordered late, the chicken chili has been rubbery—like it had been sitting out for days—and the coconut korma was completely tasteless, with the chicken seeming boiled separately. Even the samosa chaat, which I normally love, was overly salty and lacked flavor.

It makes me wonder if there’s a different cook working the late shift, or perhaps ownership or kitchen management has changed recently. Either way, the quality has dropped significantly...

I have called Kohinoor Chefs to battle and every time they answer the call.

I love spicy food. Heinously spicy food. I have dared to challenge Kohinoor time and time again in the arena of heat, and without fail they meet and exceed my expectations and we dance a glorious dance of spice and passion.

I exclusively order their lamb curry. There's a richness to their food that evokes intense feelings of euphoria and the lamb melts apart bite after bite, followed by an ethereal ascension of brain tingling spice.

Time and time again, they have seen me ask them to brutalize me, hurt me, and potentially endanger themselves by cooking with dangerous levels of heat and they have delivered. I am in bliss. If you like spicy food and authentic delicious Indian cuisine, this is a must go to. The food is flavorful, decadent, and sublime.

A worthy adversary...

The food just plain wasn't good. I spent $50 here on takeout. The paneer pakora was flavorless and dry (yes even though it was fried food in a sealed container it was dry lol). The kheer was okay but not great. And the chicken tikka masala was also okay but not great, and had a lot of big, hard chunks of what I assume were spices/husks of spices which was like coming across bits of toenail clippings in the food. I'm not one to complain about customer service usually, because I've worked my share of customer service jobs and I get how it is, but the guy didn't say a word and acted like he was annoyed I was there, barely even glanced at me. Like buddy, I just spent $50 at this hole in the wall. You could at least say hello, or say you're welcome when I say thank you...

What a disappointment! I was looking for great Indian lunch and based on the ratings here I choose to check their food. I am writing while the food in front of me. The chicken is really bad and from the taste you could tell, it have been cooked a while ago and have been setting for hours. Disgusting 🤢. Also the Masala is a juicy Masala .. they put so much water in it that it would be better if they changed the packaging to a bottle instead of a bowl. Even the white plain rice was not cooked well and very dry !!! If a restaurant can’t even prepare a simple plain bowl of rice how could they prepare Indian food?!! I tried another Indian restaurant with the same price range as this one yet their food was of way much better quality than this one.

I never write reviews but I was beyond disappointed. This is Kashmiri naan, vegetable tikka masala, Somosa chaat, and malai kofta. It all tasted so bland and cheap. Everything is a fake neon color, especially the pink naan and sickly green mint sauce. The vegetables in the (also vibrant red) tikka masala tasted like they came from a can. Malai kofta tasted like tomato soup with hot sauce. All but the somosa chaat ended up in the trash as it was at least edible without the sauce. Edit: wanted to also add that management wouldn’t do anything to make it better and “does not offer refunds”. Beware that every item I had was bad, it’s not just one random thing, so no matter what you order it’ll probably be the same quality as this.
