I’ve been here a few times and have sadly been disappointed each time. The service isn’t bad but it’s not great either. Our server changed each time throughout each evening and would take awhile before coming back to check in. The food was pretty lackluster, specifically the Beyond/Impossible burger. Each time, the burger was not made with care; arrived with a super soggy bun (like it had been sitting in the back for awhile) and lacked flavor (tomato jam has so much potential!). The entire burger maintained a similar soggy texture and the fries were all little pieces, like the kind you get at the bottom or the end of the bag. I think I had 1 fry that was longer than 2 inches? Just a bummer because it has the potential to be really cool and good with the location. I sadly won’t be coming back nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Boo.

Beautiful, cozy, warm inclusive place to go for dinner. When you walk in, you feel at home. I got the Spicy AF burger with an beyond meat patty and it was delicious. My partner got the potato leek soup and the torta sandwich. The soup was mind blowingly delicious! The drinks menu is plentiful, we went Sunday night and the drinks had a nice discount! The restaurant is surrounded by space for street parking, adjacent to the park. I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars because there was some confusion about what was really available on the menu, the website menu slightly differs from the paper menu. But the staff are very friendly and the chef is a great cook!

Visited here with a few friends for their bottomless brunch. Definitely worth it! The mimosas were super light and all the brunch options were heavy. I highly recommend the gravy and biscuits. I also tried the specialty french toast, which was quite good. Our server was very friendly and warmly accommodated our shenanigans. We had people in our party arrive late, and some leave early. They allowed us to pay in the way that was most convenient for us. This brunch spot is also really close to the park, in case you need a little digestion walk after that all that food.

Everything we had here was so delicious. We had the potato leek soup and crab dip for starters and the beyond burger, and fish and chips for main. We also asked for a side of bread for the soup. Everything was delicious and clean. Had a bit of a wait, but we were the first customers at the bar and checked out the menu before hand and new what we wanted. Even still it was worth the small wait. Definitely hoping to become a regular! I understand they have a house cocktail memu that changes seasonally. We had from their winter menu. I had an Ecto Cooler, which is refreshing and surprisingly smokey and fruity. With a little citrus and nuttiness. But something I could recommend over and over again for its easy drinking and uniqueness. I also had a Maple Mounty, which is meant to be a play on a Manhattan. It is definitely a bold drink with a solid punch of warm spices like ginger or cinnamon. Would highly recommend if you are a fan of dark spiced rums or whiskeys. Overall...

I stopped in on a Saturday evening, after reading that the burger here is good, and I will be back.

I sat at the bar, and the woman tending that evening was a consummate pro. Confidence and assurance emanated from her, and she set the tone for a great meal and a good time.

I watched some amazing rugby (Paris Olympics) on the TV, and that "good" burger was great. And the salad that confident bartender recommended was even better than she implied when describing it to me.

I had a glass of a cider that was on tap that evening, and the sweet-tart of the brew was just what the beef fat and cheese called for.

So, if you want a great burger at a bar run by the coolest bartender I have met in years, I recommend Patterson Public House.

I know nothing about the dining room in the back, and I didn't try anything else. I will be trying other options in the future, but that burger will likely call to me again in the next...
