I wish we could’ve had the experience so many other reviewers had - ours was not great. We ordered some tacos for lunch on a weekday and assumed they’d come out quickly, but they took almost 20 minutes despite no one being ahead of us in line. We ate outside because we had our dog with us and when they brought out the food we soon discovered the order was completely wrong. We didn’t want to complain but only enjoyed a couple of the tacos because the others weren’t what we wanted (pork was also very fatty and over salted but I couldn’t tell you which type we had). We were still hungry so we decided to grab two more tacos to go since I had a meeting to get back to. We waited another 15 minutes for two tacos and had to rush home. We opened the container only to realize they got the order wrong AGAIN. :( We even tipped them well since we had to tip before receiving our order and let me tell you...

While the flavors of the food at this establishment may have hit the mark, my wife and i noticed the unacceptable lack of hygiene standards observed. We noticed our waiter Reusing sauces from previous diners which is a health hazard! cleanliness in the kitchen and proper food handling procedures should be held to the highest regard. It's crucial for any dining establishment to uphold these standards to ensure the safety and well-being of their patrons. It's truly disheartening to see that such practices were witnessed. I urge the management to take immediate action to rectify this situation and prioritize the cleanliness and safety of their kitchen. As for my recommendation, until these issues are addressed, I must advise against dining at this restaurant. Let's all raise the bar when it comes to food safety and hygiene. DO NOT EAT HERE….Your health is...

After finding this place (and realizing I can walk to it), I have created multiple reasons for needing tacos on a weekly basis. Walking through the park and need a snack? Get a few excellent tacos, with fresh ingredients and tortillas. Out of ideas for dinner? More tacos. Bored and need to get out of the house? TACOS! Seriously, I bring everyone who visits Baltimore to this place, it's a tiny space but the selection of menu items flows across two walls, there's great fresh drinks (horchata, etc.) as well as your typical bottles of agua fresca, and they have a huge variety of taco fillings. If you eat in house, they've got great homemade fermented pico, green and red hot sauce. I've tried a number of nearby taquerias and this one is miles ahead in price per taco, speed of food readiness, and flavor. The only thing they're missing is a...

I am a self proclaimed birria connoisseur! I’m not sure if it’s the area or what but these were overpriced. I just had birria from Cinco De Mayo (mex restaurant in bmore) two nights ago and they were soooo good! I got 4 tacos for $14 and I had them delivered which says a lot. I only went to this place because CDM was closed. I just finished one birria taco and I’m not interested in the rest. I feel the only thing they got right is the crunch. The consume tastes like tomato soup and the meat itself doesn’t have much flavor. Most of the reviews say it’s the best birria in town and I can guarantee you it isn’t. I won’t be coming here again. The birria is JUST OKAY. Plus the verde and rojo salsa and watery. Not thick like I’m used to. It’s not nasty but its not the best. I paid $20 for 3 birria and a drink.

This is the best taqueria in Baltimore city, no other place comes close. You’ll find every authentic taco you could crave, in a way you often only find in the west coast (and MX, clearly.)Tripe, head, tongue, cheek, leg, belly, skin, birria, lamb, pastor…. This is legit. They also have a ton of other entrees, and breakfast. Their Mexican soda selection is like no other and the atmosphere is just so cozy and nice, you almost feel like you’re somewhere else. Extra points for the super beautiful mural and traditional Mexican decor. All of the servers, cooks and cashiers are sweet and helpful and they work pretty efficiently as well. The location of this place is part of its charm, right across the biggest park in Baltimore city. Just an amazing experience all around.
