Pig & Rooster — Restaurant in Baltimore

This is purely for pickup. My husband ordered through one of the delivery apps and we live relatively close so to save some money I was going to walk over and pick it up. He gave me a screenshot of the order and exact individual items.

When I got to the restaurant and said who I was picking up for, I was asked to produce the receipt with the name of who ordered, makes sense. However nothing on the app according to my husband had anything linked to a name on the order or even an order number which is a fault of the delivery app. Kept telling me that was their policy and there should be a name on the order. I told the gentleman behind the bar that I would have my husband come back and sort it all out if he needed to bring an ID.

He came back shortly and said that there was no problem/issue and all he had to say was his name, was not even asked to show a receipt (which is usually the case whenever I’ve picked up at other places) except it was someone different at the bar who gave him the bag with our food. I was upset to say the least, seems to be no consistency with verifying who is picking up. I was mostly annoyed that I received a different treatment and my husband breezed and easily received it from a different staff member without proof. Thank goodness we live close but what an...

You’ll definitely want to try the Detroit-style pizza while you are here. We ordered the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. The pizza was flavorful, yet also delightfully spicy. Our pizza was perfectly cooked. The cheese was burned just right on all the corners. The crust was light and moist, while also imparting flavor to the pizza. David was the perfect bartender.

The bathroom could use a paper towel dispenser. Also, I’m not quite sure why there was a piece of plastic in my pizza. However, these things are to be overlooked when you have one of the best pizzas, along with one of the best bartenders,...

Not what expected. Called 15 minutes prior and asked when the kitchen closed, was told it was open and to come on down, got there and was just told that they were out of pizza dough. Didn't come for pizza, just drinks and snacks, wouldn't have wasted my time driving to there if they were not going to have food or if we were informed they were out of said food. Pig and Rooster, but known for pizza? makes absolutely zero sense for branding. Wanted BBQ, pics on google looked good. Clearly a failing business that is hardly making it by through...
