I was really excited to try this place out, but when I went up to the counter the two high schoolers working left us standing there for a solid five minutes while they were on their iPhones. When they wrapped up whatever they were doing they looked up and stared at us blankly until finally I said “uhhh are you guys not open or something?” And the one kid responded “yeah we’re open, what do you want?”, to which I responded “nothing anymore, thank you and have a nice day.” It was just a pretty bizarre experience honestly. Kind of seems like they are really young and just need someone to explicitly train them in customer service. I’m actually back at Belvedere now and it’s the same kids and they’re both sitting behind the counter on their iPhones. Just not good customer service or a good vibe. Prigel's is the most delicious, authentic Ice Creamery in BMore. Happen to visit near 7PM closing. Families with many kids were enjoying cones, cups & shakes of various ice cream.
