Smoothie King — Restaurant in Baltimore

Today (04/27/2019) my wife brought a smoothie and when she drunk it on her way to her hair stylist, she realized it wasn't good, so she stopped drinking it. Since she had a hair appointment she had to wait until after her hair was finished to return to the store.

When she complained the clerk stated it wasn't their smoothie and they also claimed she did something to the smoothie. The manager came over and declared the same. My wife insisted that she received the smoothie from their and the manager and clerk protested. She requested another smoothie or her money returned and she was denied. The manager refused, my wife proceeded to ask for the manager's name so that she could report him and the store to the BBB. The manager refused and after requesting the name several times he stated Jay but refused to give a last name. The manager stated he was calling the cops.Yes, you heard me right

When the cops got there the manager stated my wife threatened him because she said, she would contact the BBB. The cop attempted to hear both sides and tried to come to a peaceful resolution, all my wife wanted was an apology and that was not granted.

Please be aware you can't return items to this store without the cops being called. It is a shame that my wife had to experience such disrespect.

13.00 cup of syrup. I ordered a mango, pineapple, blueberry smoothie. I didn't ask about the price , whatever it was I just wanted what I wanted. Instead of a fruit filled refreshing smoothie, I got some syrupy 7/11 , Wendy's kool-aid like frozen ? I didn't taste any type of fruit. HERE'S THE THING ,BECAUSE OF FRUIT ADDED A SMOOTHIE ISN'T CHEAP. To sell a person a 13.00 beverage with fruit dust , sugar and ice is just bad business. When I purchase food items , I have to be able to trust that what you say is in the ingredients are actually in the ingredients. WITH FOOD , TRUTH MATTERS. I will not go back. You can't just put random ingredients in a cup and sell it as a smoothie. You will for real make someone sick. The only good thing about this experience is, I know that it's not gonna be me that you make sick because I'm not going...

I witnessed something weird today. I don’t know what happened exactly but it didn’t seem right . A young lady got accused of stealing something. I heard another employee (I’m guessing he was the one that messed up or did the transaction) say the screen timed out and that he told the young lady that her payment went through. The Asian guy accused her of stealing something weeks ago or something and called the police on her for defending herself it seemed. I mean if someone called me a thief I would be distraught as well. Idk it didn’t seem very professional and you could tell the young lady was obviously hurt and confused from the accusations. Smoothie good though! Needs better customer service. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen something like this...
