Speakeasy Saloon & Dining House — Restaurant in Baltimore

I came into this place with my family as a back up when another restaurant was too full, and thank God I did!

The food is incredible, great taste, and very generous portions. The food arrived quickly and the waitress (who doubled as the bartender since the place was empty at the time) was extremely friendly and helpful.

Their is a fully stocked bar with a full range of beer and mixed drinks. I was surprised that they even served Mimosas, which were much larger than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I only had a Bailey's, but it was prepared neatly and brought in an appropriate glass for the drink.

The restaurant section is a "formal" sit down, cloth napkin and utensil type of place. A great assortment of food with something for everyone.

My family and I were in the place when it was fairly empty, which may change things, but the atmosphere was very nice. Their was a bit of an old-timey feel with comfortable furniture and plenty of room to sit down and have a nice and relaxed meal. Of course you can get a drink from the bar with your meal which is always nice.

Good drinks, incredible food, and nice atmosphere all in a well kept and clean...

Sunday 5/3. Went with two friends around 3pm when virtually no one was there. We wanted to sit on the balcony and enjoy the nice weather. As soon as we got in the bartender was complaining about taking extra time to make another customers strawberry daiquiri and jokingly says he should spit in the drink. The staff told us to wait 10 minutes before moving upstairs even though there 4 empty tables. 10 minutes later, after sitting down on the first level and ordering drinks our waiter told us we could not sit upstairs because we weren't ordering food right away and those were the owner's rules. The grapefruit crushes my friends ordered tasted like koolaid and came with cubed ice. After notifying the staff, the manager tells us that we had to stay downstairs. No refund was offered and the manager did not seem to care that the drinks sucked and his bartenders were joking about spitting in...

I went here for dinner and Davis was really nice. He was the only one and was holding it down. There was a full bar with some extras standing and 2 tables full of people. He checked on us regularly and even let me taste test before I got something new to try and drink. The food didn't take that long and it was super fresh and amazing. It was nice and hot and wasn't sitting there for 10 minutes like it does at other restaurants. I got a crab cake sandwich and it didn't fall apart and was moist and flavorful. The sauce was so good. I wish I had the recipe to make it myself. The fries are really good too just and crisp. My friend got the chicken phoenix and the rice was made so well. So soft and thick and the chicken was cooked really well. I dont normally give reviews because im picky and always find something to complain about lol but I recommend...
