Zero stars if possible. I went into this place with an open mind and really hopeful. I was sadly disappointed, as a minority I tend to be a little skeptical when it comes to going to highly prominently white and country-like bars. Usually, it's type of crowds that come with the ambience that is not too welcoming. This particular night it was empty and around 9pm, I asked if the kitchen was open since it was late and they said yes, gave us menus. We sat at the bar, two of us, and were interrupted after a couple seconds, of glancing at the menu and rudely asked by the male bartender, "So what.... Are you guys gonna order drinks?" no smile EVER. The demeanor sounded rushed and aggressive, but I brushed it off. Got a beer as to not impose more work for him, and we waited about 25 minutes until WE had to go out of our way to grab HIS attention to order OUR food. Mind you we were sitting right in front of him, and the restaurant only had a few guests at that point. Waited entirely too long for the food and it sucked, maybe it was because he simply did not care to pay attention to our order when we were requesting specifics like the way my steak was to be cooked. The loaded Potatoe wasn't loaded, and they gave us a cold piece of corn. We asked for our meal to be corrected and they denied us because the kitchen had closed down, no apology or anything and they didn't even offer a solution. We asked for a refund and did not get to eat dinner from their lack of customer service skills.
Perhaps if they weren't too busy talking TRASH about the customers who happened to be two young black women, who were also being mistreated in the restaurant, then maybe they could perform their duties correctly and more professionally. I blatantly heard the bartenders speaking to each other and accusing the young ladies of being under the influence or doing drugs in their restroom with no reason to just ILL INTENT. There was no reason for the employees to be bigoted and stereotypical towards minorities, COMPLETELY UNCALLED FOR AND I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK.
Their target audience seems to be Cis White People. The place was dirty, and the bartenders don't wash their hands and...
Read moreFirst time visiting, wanting to experience the items shown on photos on their web page. Though having great reviews, my experience was a bit disappointing. Having some disability, the place has a high step to enter. Upon entering, I noticed all the tables were bar high, but I was helped to climb on the seat as well as at the entrance. We were greeted by a friendly server. Drinks were ordered; mine specifically a margarita, wasn't the best I've had. The starters were fantastic, we had bbq bacon wrapped shrimps and fried cheese. Entrees was another story. Of our party of 5, 3 entrees had to be returned since 2 were brisket and it was cold, hard and dry and the other was a sandwich, that was also cold and the meat was almost non existent. The server apologized and was quick to take our orders for new entrees. We exchanged for sirloins and those were delivered to perfection. With that said, I might have to let some time pass before deciding to give it another chance, maybe for brunch, since that menu...
Read moreAfter reading reviews was super excited to have brunch here. Arrived for brunch with my kids around noon, not a hostess in sight, bartender advises to just find an open table (ugh), once seated someone did come over and clean the table. Mya was our waitress and she is truly the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars, she was attentive. First off, they didn’t have crab cakes and were out of sweet bread for Sunday brunch at noon, strike 1. Our food comes; we had to ask several times for utensils, my sons western burrito was missing sausage, I ordered egg whites and received runny egg slop, they forgot toast and home fries which we ordered, no butter or jelly for toast, food was warm at best, under seasoned and sub par to be completely honest, strikes 2, 3, 4, etc. This was our first and last time here, there are too many other spots in the region doing brunch the right way. ...
