Taste This — Restaurant in Baltimore

I have eaten here twice, hence why I gave 2 stars. So the first time i ordered the Harbor East baked potato. I was excited to eat it becuase of all the good things i heard about this place. Well the potato was undercooked, shrimp and salmon overcooked all while no crab meat made it on to the plate. I was quite disappointed. I convinced myself that maybe it was just an off day. So today I order a build your own potato with bacon and butter and sour cream on the side, along with the Hennesy Honey wings over rice. Well this time the potato was cooked well (at least something was). The bacon was limp and under cooked, the Hennessey wings were bland under all that sauce which tasted more like molasses than honey and if Hennessey made it in there couldnt taste it any at all(the sauce was the only seasoning so the chicken itself was bland)and the rice was under cooked and chewy and they missed the butter for the potato. Well fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I was really hoping for the best for this place. Hopefully they will read this comment and fix...

I absolutely love taste this but they are so inconsistent with the food. It’s always hit or miss. Either it’s the best soul food you ever tasted or your rice is old and reheated etc. Today I ordered a breakfast platter it was so freaking disgusting. My waffle was delicious but I was given sausage instead of the bacon I asked for. I wanted scrambled eggs and got a mix of half scrambled and half fried. I don’t know it was just a slab of egg. Literally. The sausage I didn’t ask for was freezer burnt and extremely dry and hard to chew. I ordered online and had it delivered which was a mistake on my end because they usually show you your food before you pay and leave. Usually when I go to taste this I get the same thing, their bbq chicken platter with Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. Sometimes my sweet potatoes are a little hard and stringy and others it’s just fine. Overall I give this place too much credit because I want to like them. But if they keep hiring people who can’t cook then I might as well stop eating here. I was...

This was my first experience coming and trying Taste This, I live in DC and visiting for the weekend. I had a four piece wing with two sides which were macaroni and cheese and cabbage on a bed of rice. Although the cabbage was the highlight of the dish , The sides were very satisfactory. The Mac& cheese in my opinion was undercooked as well as my Wings, which is another story. I asked to Have my wings fried well done(extra crispy)and it is as if they totally ignored me and they had my chicken sit out I came within the 30 minutes which the cashier told me prior upon pick up, and the food still had a very oven baked feel the skin was very thin and slid off when I tried breaking it apart. A couple of the wings were pink inside and were very tuff to break apart Indicating to me that they could have been cooked longer than they had or even to the correct temp. If that was the issue.
