Sadly, my first visit will likely be the only visit. I generally love breakfast spots but this was a very dismal experience. We walked in and there was a sign to wait to be seated, so we waited, and waited, and waited, as we watched numerous people come from the kitchen and into the dining room. There were 4 tables sat and 3 servers that we saw. I was able to catch the eye of one of the servers, who pointed at us/the host stand, prompting the hostess to finally come greet/seat us. Once we were finally sat, we watched a gentleman come in and stand at the same empty host stand, waiting to be sat. He got frustrated and left as another party of 5 was coming in, who also waited a long time to be sat. Another couple came in a few minutes later and, because no one came to seat them, they walked the entrance of the dining room to, seemingly, seat themselves. A server just so happened to be walking by and told them the host would be right with them. We sat at the table for a good 10mins before anyone noticed us, and that only happened because the server for that party of 5, who was sat at the next table, came to greet them and saw us still waiting. Our server finally came by, got our drink order, and brought those right back. She asked if we were ready and we asked for another minute. Many minutes went by as we watched her go between 2 other tables and the kitchen, never once glancing our way. I finally had to stare her down and wave to get her to come back to us. We placed our order and waited some more. The food took a lot longer than expected, and then wasn't correct, nor was it our complete order, when it was dropped. I ordered a well done English muffin, which was the item we didn't get, had to wait for it. When it came out, it didn't even look like it had touched a toaster/grill. I sent it back and got it back with a tiny brown spot in it, while the rest of it was still white and slightly doughy in spots. By this point, the rest of the perfectly cooked over-easy eggs (despite ordering them over-medium, so there was minimal runny whites) were cold and I was over the whole experience. I'm generally a minimum 20% tipper (I have lots of personal experience with, and am very sympathetic to, how servers make their money) but, with the auto-gratutity of 18% thats added to all checks, that's all our server got. She was friendly enough so I hope we just got her on an "off" day (they happen to all of us). If not, retraining might be in order because she definitely did not have any kind of rhythm or flow to her process, and she never once apologized for, or acknowledged, our long wait or the mistakes/omissions on our order. :(

We have visited TOPH multiple times in multiple states. Our visit to this location is usually great. Today my pancakes, hash browns, and bacon all had a funny aftertaste. My eggs did not they were good. My husband’s pancakes had the same aftertaste. I notified the waitress and asked if the eggs were cooked on a separate grill. She stated they were made in a pan. I could tell that they were cooked separately from the other foods. I requested that my order be removed from the bill. The owner came over and apologized, which was greatly appreciated. However, he mentioned that they don't use chemicals on the grill. If you don't use chemicals, how do you clean the grill? I found that statement odd. It's okay if the grill was cleaned with a chemical or solution and it wasn't cleared off properly. I rather that then you don't use chemicals. Using plain water is not cleaning a grill and I would be silly to believe that a chemical wasn't used on the grill. My husband's food was good (shrimp omelet) and we will return in the future. I will chalk this up to an off day as no day will be perfect. The waitress was amazing and the other staff was as well. The waitress also apologized for the taste.

It’s a long wait(45min) because everything is made fresh. One person at my table enjoyed their food. He had eggs Benedict and an apple pancake and he loved it. The apple pancake came out before everyone else’s food. I had the corned beef hash with eggs (eggs scrambled with cheese and French toast substitute). The corned beef hash was dry and the French toast was cold, flavorless and only battered on one side. My friend had the Dutch baby and said it was really good. Her corned beef hash was also dry and she didn’t even eat all her cheese eggs. She also ordered the Swedish pancake and it was cold and she ate about 3 bites of it. Her husband had the apple waffle and was very disappointed because of the wording on the menu. He thought that it would look like the apple pancake but the apples are BAKED INTO the waffle and topped with sugar and cinnamon. He said he could barely taste the apples and I tasted it and it definitely did not taste how I thought. There are no chunks of apple. It is blended into the batter. The potatoes he had on the side were underwhelming, but he enjoyed the bacon and eggs.

This was by far the worst dining experience i have ever encountered. My husband and i were there on Sunday along with 4 friends. 5 out of 6 ppl in our party had issues with their food. It started with cold weak coffee, other complaints were cold pancakes, under cooked poor cut T-bone steak. Greasy steak, cold eggs, and cold chicken fajita skillet. The staff did take the orders back to correct which took considerable amounts of time and it didn’t help that they were rude and showed outward frustration towards us. The waitress stood over a wall and took our order which made it very difficult for those of us at the opposite end. She gave water but placed it on one end for us to distribute ourselves. She never gave things requested like hot water to clean utensils and also my husband never got his tea. Others staff attempted to help but also engaged in whispering and giving attitude. The worst part of this ordeal is that the owner who was identified as present could not be so bothered to grace us with his presence after several requests. Ultimately, we asked for the inedible portion of our food to be removed from our bill to which the manager replied that that was not their policy. We begrudgingly paid our bill. The staff was impolite, menacing, and provocative. I remain appalled and will NEVER return to that establishment. And will share this nightmare on every available platform in order to spare others from enduring the horrible experience of my...

So I gave it three stars because of my home fries. In my mind when I see home fries on the menu I literally am looking for homemade fried potatoes. Sorry but this is the original pancake house and home fries homemade fries no matter how you write it says it, they should be chopped potatoes with onions & green pepper with a hint of pepper and vegetables seasoning, I'll add my own salt thank you. But damn it just a Big Spoiler when you get diced French fries SO DISAPPOINTING. I love my sister waffles, very nice sweet batter I didn't need the syrup which I love. My French toast tasted like egg& bread, not a drop of cinnamon or vanilla extract added to the egg batter very very blain. Eggs had no fluff what-so-ever. My daughter friend wanted chicken and waffles, my bad chicken strips & waffle. UHHHHHHHH!!!!

Waiter/ Server name Johnnie (😉 eye candy😍!! yes indeed, yes indeed😂)anyway, he was soooo freaking awesome. Consistent with our satisfaction, made sure we had extra syrup/ sauces & replenished beverages without us asking. Was very well timing on our needs. I mean I will go again, but try something different next time and hoping to have Johnnie as my waiter/server. (JK) not!!!

Yup,...
