Bad and sad enough Baltimore hardly has any AUTHENTIC well-known tasty American soul food spots. I thought I would get close here but noo noo noooo. The Mac and cheese do not look like the picture on uber eats. This is Mac and orange reddish color crumbs tgat hardly cover the noodle. I'm not even sure if they used cheese for this shit. I'm mad after waiting 2 hours for this unseasoned fried chicken and unseasoned Jumbo shrimp puff that when you bite it the whole shrimp come out the first time. It ain't no way imma just eat a big piece of breading so I gave that to my dog. The greens are OK but again not seasoned. Nothing is seasoned just fried and put in a box. If it is seasoned then it's only a 2 out of 10. Surprised the food was hot after 2 hours. I can say that but taste of everything is super disappointing and this fraudulent Mac and cheese/elbow noodles and reddish crumbs. Oh i tasted it again. This is where you go when you don’t want to cook. I’ve tried almost everything in this restaurant, including the Jollof rice, the rice and beans the cabbage, the amazing fried chicken, the turkey wings, the candy yams, the collard greens, the mac & cheese, the jerk, chicken, the curry chicken, the stew chicken. Let’s just say I’ve been going here a long time and it never disappoints. I’ve even had the fish although I am not a seafood lover. You can’t miss with anything you order everything is absolutely delicious. Vasachy is very friendly and inviting. You can tell he puts a lot of love into his food and he’s very passionate about what he is doing. The sides are readily available, the Chicken and fish are cooked to order so it is fresh. I never write reviews but I have to for this awesome place. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp and it was GOOD. REAL GOOD. I got two sides, the food was great but the real reason this place is awesome is because of Vasachy. He's a real cool guy to talk to and he enjoys what he does. You cannot go wrong by loving what you do. He clearly does. This was the very first time I EVER ordered off of uber eats and the driver did not pick up or deliver my food, but said they did. So I called Vasachy and he told me what happened and I decided, I will go in myself. GREAT DECISION! When I was in there Vasachy was so affable, and the food was so good I ordered more to go. If you love seeing people do their jobs well, cooking food, and generally being good people, Go here.
