I love going here it was clean, open, and bright. Our waitress was a little slow getting to us and keeping up with us. She didn't come back very often.. we went to separate times, so the pictures are from 2 different visits.. but I will say both times. The service was quite sporadic and slow. The first time is when we had the fried artichokes very delicious. The scotch eggs. I loved them they were so unusual. I had never had them before, and the horse radished sauce that they give you to dip in was delicious. My husband and I shared a bowl of the clam chowder, and it was very good. I would definitely recommend having their clam chowder. The second time we went is when my husband had the chicken Caesar salad, as you can see. It's $17.95 for a very, very small salad. He said that the chicken was unseasoned he did not like the chicken Caesar salad and said he would not have it again. I had the Philly steak pasty. I'd like to it was very good. The Crestwood was very delicate and wonderful. It was my first time trying this dish. I would have it again. So we absolutely love our first visit even though the service was quite slow. The second visit was a little different, though there was a little old man who was yelling at the servers and talking loudly. He seemed very angry he was doing it in front of the guest. I guess it is the part I did not appreciate. I feel like he may have been the owner or the manager. And the second time, we waited and waited to get our bill. Then we waited to get our change, and we did not get the correct change. We got less than what we should have gotten. We just wanted to leave, so I left it at what it was. To be fair, the second time, it was a lot busier than the first time, and I only saw 2 actual servers, so they were both very busy. One of them was the bar tender. I enjoyed going here, and this will be one of my first picks. When...

They have a decent selection of food and some good choices for traditional Irish beers. They have lots of TV's to watch your favorite game.

I ordered the Bangers and Mash which came with a side of pee's. The bangers (sausage) was a tad over cooked but had a good rich flavor. The mash (mashed potatoes) seemed to be not home made, tasted gritty and watery. They were both topped with grilled mushrooms and onions with a demi glace sauce both of which had a good flavor and cooked fine.

My fiancee had one of their specials, which was a pork chop with a Jack Daniels sauce, and came with mash potatoes and broccoli and cauliflower. The pork chop was nice and thick and maybe a couple minutes over cooked but still juicy. The sauce was interesting and had a nice little kick. The potatoes were the same, not home made, and the veggies were cooked fine.

There were not that busy when we got there and only a couple other groups came in. The staff was nice and a tad on the slow side. We waited almost fifteen minutes for the waitress just to pickup our check and ended up going up to the bar to pay. Again they were not that busy.

The pub seems to be fairly new so maybe they are still working out the kinks in the way they work. I would go back again if they maybe got the home cooked part of...

My husband and I wandered into Bandon from where we were staying in Brookings and stumbled onto this gem as we were taking in the coast from the 101. I ordered a whiskey burger and my husband had one with guacomole. We both enjoyed our burgers, mine was (to me, anyways) one of the best burgers I've ever had. The whiskey sauce was excellent. The burger was also rather large, too large for me to finish in one sitting without over eating and being miserable for the car ride back to Brookings.

I was also surprised at how easy it was to find a table on a Sunday afternoon. The pub was not crowded at all, a couple tables had people and there were 3 people at the bar. Our server was pleasant and courteous, the food came out quickly, and as I have stated before was very tasty.

The restrooms are clean and well maintained, and there is street parking available. If you come at the right time you may even grab a spot in front of the pub. We parked a little ways down the street as we came to wander Old Town Bandon and to browse the shops.

I would definitely recommend this...

Finally an Irish pub that doesn’t just pour Guinness and have green walls and call themselves “Irish”. This place is very cool, with outstanding service and even better food. Over our 4 days in Bandon we had their Scotch eggs, fish and chips, fried oysters, meatloaf dinner, and countless beers and cocktails while watching sports on the TVs. All the food was just fantastic. Also, for you non-sports people… even though there were several TVs playing sports, they kept the volumes down so you could still hear the house ambient music, so it was still pleasant for everyone, including families with kids. My favorite beer was the perfectly-poured Half-and-Half (Guinness layered with Smithwicks ale.) Such a refreshing experience to eat at a place that obviously values every visitor. This is the kind of staff I invest in financially. Great job to the management having your systems in place to allow your workers to be so successful at pleasing your customers.

Loved this place. We were hangry when we got into Bandon after our drive in for the week. We decided to eat at Foleys. Good comfort food. I had bangers and mash, son had shepherds pie, wife had fish and chips. All great! The fried pickle appetizer was very good. Had a few Guinness and a couple drams. Nice selections of scotch and Irish whiskey, saw all my favorite quality single malts. Good TVs with football on all around. Family friendly until later evening. Great service. Only thing the menu could use is a good chicken schnitzel and HP sauce as a condiment. I watched a gentleman make an Irish coffee that looked very very good! Need to go back for one of those, was sad we didnt get to go back for another good meal and good time!
