Harvest Moon Deli — Restaurant in Bangor

I gave 3 stars because I usually love this location but lately every time I go something gets messed up. Last time was the bread type. This time the bacon is fridge cold on a toasted sandwich. Worst of all there are no joke globs of bacon grease all over the bacon. I tried to wipe it away but can't be done. it's thick and cold. It's effing nasty. Nobody would want to eat this. Be better off with a big Mac for grease content. Wouldn't be as big an issue if the sandwiches weren't so pricey to begin with. I don't mind paying the price as long as I get what I actually ordered and as its expected to be served. I get the same order every time and I have been dispappointed greatly the last 2 visits to this location. Drive a half hr to get to this specific one because it was always better than the others. Worst part is I didn't realize til we were back home so can't take it back in. Maybe some employees need re training on how to be a food service worker. Maybe they were never taught properly or at all. But it's disgusting to have tablespoons of dried cold bacon grease all over your sandwich. And we got 2 of them. Such a waste. Disappointed is an understatement. Now we need new last minute dinner plans and have wasted more than enough $ on the 1st one. Please fix these issues. I never leave reviews like this but this but I’ve honestly never been so disappointed. We ordered our food at 11:30 and when we realized we had been sitting there for over 20 minutes watching everyone who walked in after us receive their food, we finally got up and asked where our food was, my friend even said “we’ve watched the last 6 people who ordered after us get there sandwiches and we’ve been waiting far too long, so I would like a refund so we can leave”. The girl working said, “well most of them were salads, and we have yours on the panini press now” knowing da** well that they forgot to put our order up on the line. This was also the same girl that was delivering SANDWICHES to tables who ordered after us, and of course they only have one panini press, so it was very clear that they forgot about us. We got a refund and left without anything.
