PAY ATTENTION TO THE 1-3 STAR REVIEWS: This business DOES NOT respond to anything less than a 4 star review. They IGNORE negative reviews (a red-flag sign of poor social media marketing management) and the front desk is extremely passive when they are confronted during your stay or at check-out.
There is nothing quality about this Quality Inn. Since check in:
The hotel is old, un-renovated, and the hallway smells of bad take-out food. The cops were on premises looking for a long term tennant in the first 10 minutes we were here (the same guy came back later). Our room has termites. The wifi isn't working. When I asked the girl at the front desk to help with it she said she didn't know anything about it because it was her first day back at work after 5 months (nothing to do with fixing the wifi). There is NO coffee pot in there room nor free coffee in the lobby. Two ladies checked in right behind us and got the room across the hall, and they didn't even stay an hour. Told me the room was not worth the money as they were reloading their car. Twice, my wife and I stepped outside to smoke, and there was a person rummaging through the overflowing trash can and eating anything that WAS (past tense) food. We were asked every time we went outside, if we could let a passing-by non-resident in the hotel or for a cigarette, a sign of a neighborhood the fosters takers/freeloaders/vagrants. The tennant that the the cops were looking for when we checked in, and his girlfriend; were evicted from the hotel and (at 20:54) all of there stuff is in plastic bags just outside the exit door next to our room. The Ice Cream truck that is parked in the NO PARKING ZONE, almost hit us when he parked there.
I would NEVER stay here again, not even if I magically owned it tomorrow. This is a $39.99 a night place at best - would be better advertised as an hourly type hotel. We payed to stay a week since we are moving here for work, but we are leaving only after staying...
Read moreI stayed there two nights while traveling through the area for work. During my first nights stay I could smell urine inside of my room and drove myself crazy looking for the source. I couldn't find it the first night while there probably bc of my lack of sleep from traveling. However, the second night I came back to my room and while sitting on my bed discovered that the sheets at one edge of the bed had been soiled with urine. Unfortunately this was at the end of the bed closest to my face. I contacted the manager who advised that the head of housekeeping would be down with fresh linens for my bed. The head housekeeper apologized immensely and assisted in spraying the entire bed down with isopropyl alcohol and applying fresh sheets. However, later that evening I requested to speak to the manager about the issue as it seemed that the establishment doesn't change the sheets after someone visits. The manager never got back to me that evening and I was instructed that they would return the next morning at 8am. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait till 8 to talk to the manager and had to leave. The only credit I received from this establishment was a 25 dollar credit labeled dirty blanket. I was really hoping for a full credit for the first nights stay returned to me since I " Slept in someone's urine unknowingly all night long". I intend to contact corporate with is notably within the state I live in with regards to this matter. I travel a lot and up until recently considered this chain of hotels a cheap, efficient, and convenient way to travel. I hope everyone that reads this heeds my warning check your sheets...
