My experience had a positive and a negative. The positive outweighed the negative. I ordered my nuggets and drinks for myself and two friends. The young lady taking the order was very nice to us. Very friendly and inviting to get the order and offer things to save money. For example sugesting to buy a 40 nugget and save. Instead of two seperate 20 nuggets. Once i was processed i was given the receit and waited several minutes for our food. I was given my food from a lady with a blue shirt. She apeared to be a team leader or a manager of some sort. This person wasnt as cheerful and welcoming, but gave me our food. No mistakes everyyhing as ordered. I proceded to get a sweet tee as i always do when stopping at this mcdonalds. Im from Belfast maine on bussiness in bangor on the way back from Charlestonmaine.. I make this run about two times a month and this mcdonalds is the start with my new clients exposure to prosocial activities for the past ten years. I went to the counter to get my sweet tea filled as the sweet tea container was empty. I told the lady with a blue shirt that it was empty and could she get me some please. This is where i wasnt impressed. The lady let out a big si. She made me feel like i was an inconvience. She went and filled my cup and returned it to me. In my mind i felt i ordered a sweet tea and its not my fault the thing was empty. Im the customer. This wasnt a customers wright situation. I was sold a sweet tea and just dont like soda. I drank my sweet tea and wanted a refill. I waited for that lady to leave the counter. I wwnt up and asked for a refill. I explained that the thing was still empty. The young lady i believe to be joyce said she was sorry and asked me if i had enough ice in cup. I told her yes. She filled my cup and applied a new lid on cup. I walked away from her feeling like i was treated like i mattered. I then went back up to the counter in earsight to the new person in either a shift leader or manager roll. I told tjis young lady that i appreciate her positive attitude and kindness. I told her never change this is what people want to see. I told her she will go far in any job she does because she makes the people around her feel they matter. She thanked me for complacent and told us to have a nice day. With that said she was the cash register person. The new person in blue a male didnt take the time to help me as i believed he was the order filler. In 45 minutes no one took the time to fill the sweet tea. I would have given a two star rating if i never went back for a second tea. If i had a better blue shirt experience i would have given a five star rating. The bathroom and tables were clean. It wasnt overly busy. Thank you for excepting my feed back. A little more costomer service is...
Read moreI am compelled to share my disappointing experiences with the Broadway McDo branch, which has consistently provided subpar service. Although its convenient location near my daughter's school and our residence is a significant advantage, the branch's inefficiencies have led to frustrating encounters. My daughter's fondness for their nuggets and frozen cola has been overshadowed by the lengthy wait times and inadequate communication from the staff. A recurring issue is the staff's failure to inform drive-thru customers of extended preparation times, resulting in wait periods of up to 25 minutes and incomplete orders. Today's experience was particularly disappointing, as I ordered a strawberry creme pie through the drive-thru, only to be informed of its unavailability after a five-minute wait. The staff member's alternative offer of an apple pie was declined, and I was subsequently offered a refund, which I was instructed to collect inside the restaurant. This requirement defeated the purpose of using the drive-thru, which was to avoid the inconvenience of exiting my vehicle. I found the staff member's attitude to be unhelpful and dismissive, as evidenced by his statement, "I'm giving you options, do you want a refund? Then you have to go get your refund inside." After expressing my frustration, I ultimately waited for the strawberry creme pie, which became available after an additional 15-minute wait. I firmly believe that improved customer service training is necessary for the drive-thru staff, particularly Dano, to provide a more satisfactory experience...
Read moreI ordered a medium fry (which I had a coupon for, for 1 dollar), an apple pie, and two ranch snack wraps, the transaction went through fine on my end (I used Apple Pay, which I have used many many times before) but must not have accepted on their end,(nothing was taken out of my account when I checked later, although I have money in there and have used this payment method dozens of times) but she asked me for a receipt (im not sure if it was out of habit or what, but she did), and I said no and drove to the next window, where they gave me a large fry and two bacon McDoubles, which I did not realize until half my drive home. They did not stop me at the second window to say my transaction hadn’t gone through or anything of the like. When I called to tell them, the girl on the phone was very rude, and accused me of driving away and taking someone else’s order because the card didn’t go through for whatever reason, even though I was not informed. I DID NOT drive off, I stayed in line and waited for my order, and WOULD have come in if there was trouble. I even offered to come in and pay for the food that I had received and she said nothing could be done and hung up on me even AFTER I had apologized for what happened on my end. After a long, hard, and stressful day, the management and service I have received will ensure I will never be going there again. This is not something I would normally be upset about but how horribly they treated me is something I feel should be addressed. Corporate has been contacted as well...
