Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Banning

The treatment by what i assume was the manager/owner was ridiculous. Came in for a promo, ordered on the app (which was not working well. Took 4 attempts to have it finally process our orders) Upon arriving at the store, they did not have my order. The older gentleman sought the help of Heeren. I showed him my fully processed order. He then looked for my order and said he didnt have it. Their system is set up so they only get orders every 15 minutes and then allows them 15 minutes after that to make it. So because i placed my order at 3:19, they werent going to get it til 330, and prepared by 345. Once i understood that, i wasnt mad at them. I said their system sucks and i would wait. It was 327 at that point. Honestly, he could have seen my receipt, knowing thats how the system works, and just given me my ice cream. But no, he had to start getting nasty and telling me thats what i get for ordering a free ice cream and i cant just have what i want. Even if i had paid $100 for the ice cream, thats how their system works. I didnt appreciate him getting ugly about me using a promo code that the company put out. There were more employees than customers. I wasnt holding anyone up. I even said i would just wait. But he kept running his mouth being rude and argumentative. I repeatedly told him to stop talking to me as i already sat down to wait for my single scoop of ice cream. He then accused me of saying the f word. Not sure how he spells "sucks" but its not with an F.

All he had to do was say "oh Im sorry but our system wont show me your order for 3 more minutes. Please have a seat and i will bring it out to you".

It stinks that the app didnt work well and their system is set up with a delay, but there was no need for him to be nasty. Ice cream is supposed to be a treat ...

We love going to Baskin Robbins. The people at this location are so nice and always willing to go the extra mile. I forgot to order my cake so I knew I would have to pick from the case, but one of the employees was finishing up a mermaid cake and offered it to me it was perfect. They have the best customer service they always think about their clients and their needs and if they can make it happen they will and if they can't they are the ones apologizing and will make another suggestion.
