GameStop should make the change to its pre-order policy I pre-ordered a game in time before it's launch now while I will admit pre-ordering a game a week before it's launch just so I can secure a copy is not always the best but still ridiculous that I couldn't get my game on release date and I know that I live in a smaller town so not a lot of the shops will always have these games and it's also ridiculous to Fork over an extra $20 just to get the premium Edition instead of the standard that I wanted, I also wanted to add that this review is not a jab at the staff they were doing their job and doing a very good one at that and we're very polite and helpful to me my only issue is that when I put in my pre-order it should have been flagged to have a copy sent to my GameStop instead of having me walk in find out that I can't pick up my game and now have to wait another week just to be...
Read moreNO PRESSURE w/ EASYGOING STAFF! I love that this is one of the few GameStops where I can walk-in and not feel any pressure to buy something. I've never gotten anyone breathing down my neck or following me. The staff acknowledge you and greet you, but they're chill. Also, if you have any questions they are very helpful.

However, I still visit GameStop when I need the new hottest game or I'm searching for a Funko Pop exclusive.

Read moreWhat I like about this place most is the Nostalgia feeling. The feeling of going to a store to pick up the newest and hottest game that everyone is playing so you can be in the know. Obviously, I'm referring to a time before buying stuff online was a thing.
Great place to bring your kids here for video game Merch. Now that I'm an adult, and more specifically, have access to everything I want, stores like these don't really have a purpose other than being able to get Merch now instead of having to wait a day or two....if they have it in stock, that is. Then you still gotta wait a day or two...
Besides the used hardware market, I find it difficult to see how GameStop (as a national chain) stays open. I know the GME surge helped them stay up longer. But for nostalgia, I certainly do...
