One star is being generous. I NEVER leave bad reviews for establishments but this experience was cringeworthy to say the least.
I came into this location in the shopping center on Highland Springs Avenue to buy some supplies for a project Ive been working on, and I was EXTREMELY disappointed to the point that I left the store.
The so-called supervisor, "Anthony," followed me around the store the ENTIRE time, rudely insinuating that I was shoplifting.
Trying to ignore his persistent staring and profiling behavior. I asked to see where the wood craft tools were, he incorrectly informed me that they didn't have any and then when I asked him if there was a problem he said that a person who walked in with me (which was untrue, I came to the store alone) left without paying for something and the police were on the way. I told him I came into your store alone, I dont know who youre talking about but he insisted on standing literally next to me the whole time making rude comments.
I told him he was making my first experience at their store very unpleasant and he continued harassing me until I just put the items back that I was purchasing and told him that Micheals or Walmart would kindly facilitate my business a little more professionally.
Not only did this "Manager" run me off, but three other customers that witnessed his rude and persistent behavior left as well.
Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment any time soon and I will strongly recommend against it to any of my friends and family.
Anyone who is looking for a nice hobby shop with great cusyomer service would be wise to avoid this location completely and Anthony should take a session or two of customer service or loss prevention techniques that dont chase paying customers away as he has no interest in being a helpful nor polite associate.
Very seriously poor...
Read moreI ended up driving to Moreno Valley to Robert’s Fine Art, it’s a bit of a drive, but clearly worth it, the customer service there is top notch. They actually want to do the work. It took six days, but they had to order the matting, they built a custom frame, and the price is comparable to Hobby Lobby with a custom frame (they might be cheaper as HL quoted me with a frame off the shelf).. I will never go back to Hobby Lobby for framing again. If you need custom framing you really need to call this place, they are terrific.
Joke of a place, come in yesterday, Keagan tells me he can cut a piece of matting and frame my art work, he says it will take about 15-20 minutes. I go home, and come back and he’s real busy, so I say I will come back tomorrow. I come in today and Heidi is just there doing nothing, and she says it will take two weeks. Two weeks to cut a piece of matting? Places wonder why they go out of business, it’s because people are lazy, and they don’t want to work. After I go to their competition, I will let you know how long it took to get framed. I will go to a mom and pop shop, where a business will appreciate customers coming inside to give...
Read moreIt’s great to have one in town. I have always liked this store. It’s easy to find parking. The front always looks nice with the different window displays they have. They always carry seasonal items as you walk in on the left side of the store. So that’s very convenient when looking for last minute holiday decor. The associates are always happy to help. I especially like the way they have a clearance section in mostly all the categories offered. You never know, what you didn’t know you needed is there. I always find myself just walking around and browsing at almost everything that they have to offer. I don’t think I have ever had a bad experience here, other than not finding a certain item or the line being to long, this Hobby Lobby is a go to. Don’t forget to use the 40% discount coupon, it goes along way when used properly. Thank you Hobby Lobbyers... oh yea don’t forget they are...
