The Great Room Bar at the Bluenose Inn — Restaurant in Bar Harbor

Open Monday through Saturday, the Great Room has wonderful atmosphere. Neal, the bartender, is welcoming and warm from the minute you enter the room. He has excellent recommendations. He is a great person to talk to. Pricing is average. There is a small menu of snacks. We sampled a few - portions were large. The food was fresh (think veggie platter). Bill Trowell is the pianist who has been there for 29 years. He is outstanding. He will engage the guests in the room, and will play requests. He plays the piano with passion and determination. We had a great week in Bar Harbor and our favorite event was an evening listening to Bill Trowell play the piano in the Great Room Bar.
