I rarely ever have any difficulties visiting this location and I enjoy myself each visit. Today was not one of those times and I am highly disappointed. I decided to mobile order my drink per usual and then stop in to pick it up. As I waited for someone to greet me in the mobile pickup line for nearly 15 min for my drink. It didn't happen. My drink was steadily sitting on the mobile pickup counter waiting. There is a sign that reads for customers to wait until you are greeted by your batista and to not grab drinks. So i waited. I watched a customer jump in front of me as the batista was preparing her drinks and having so many conversations and prompted the customer in conversation and still no greeting or anything to the one that had been waiting. There was even a moment where the employees weren't waiting on a sole but yet im still standing. Finally I got upset enough to ask the kind staff member who was really busy making hot drinks, that I believed my drink was sitting behind the counter. She kindly gave it to me. If you are going to set rules and guidelines, then you need to follow.. If this is what Starbucks envisons as their ultimate customer service, then I will conclude by visiting another location. Its not difficult to ask someone how they can be helped after you've seen them stand there for an allotted amount of...
Read moreLook, I am not the one to complain I distance myself from it as much as I can. Said that, I can say I love this place for having its drive threw, but my experience today was very unpleasant and embarrassing. I ordered my coffee the same way I always order it and had never heard complaints or anything, but today I witnessed a woman working that just had to express out loud her very negative opinion on my drink. With me standing less than 3 feet away. Offended and upset I didn’t want to say anything as a reaction due to the fact that I don’t like conflictation and I had my 5yr old daughter with me. This was Thursday , Jan.10th around 3:59, time stamp on my drink. The woman was the older and a little longer than shoulder length light auburn hair. Blonde but with heavy red undertones. The whole time she was working she seemed bothered by everyone and was now pleasant. I’m definitely not returning here, I rather drive farther to the mall or downtown Pullman square. Just to avoid the embarrment...
Read moreMaybe it's a little odd to rate this Starbucks against the other Starbucks in the area, but, well, I think it's helpful. The quality of the espresso drinks tends to be better here. The quality of the coffee tends to be better. And the chemistry among all the people working here is better. There have been times when it's been exceptional. These days, it's not as ideal. But it's still worth coming here for coffee.
Be aware, though. It gets busy. I seldom go through the drive-thru. But I can see the line there. And the line inside is almost as long. If it's Christmas holiday time or anytime when you think most of the people in Barboursville would like a cup of coffee, this Starbucks will be packed. And it feels chaotic then. But, overall, I say YES! to...
