Tudor's Biscuit World — Restaurant in Barboursville

I use to get food from here every Tuesday morning. I always ordered the same thing, which was a sausage biscuit and a hash brown. I stopped going because over a 2 month span, my hash brown was not put in my bag at least 5 different times.

I didn’t complain at first because things happen and I felt it wasn’t a big deal, it’s just a hash brown. The 5th time that it happened though, I called and spoke with the manager. (It was a mistake on my part for not asking her what her name was). I didn’t ask for anything nor did I want anything other than for her to know what has been happening.

She apologized and said, “I know it’s not an excuse but, we have some new people working”. She offered to replace the hash-brown. I explained that it would have been a waste of my gas to go back and that I didn’t have the time either and I really just wanted her to be aware. She told me that for my inconvenience she would put me down for 2 hash browns the next time that I came through. She took my name and that was that.

The next week, I went through and ordered my sausage biscuit. I got to the window and told the lady at the window the situation and even had my receipt. She then got the, “Assistant manager” who told me that they would replace the one hash brown that was forgotten on my last visit, but couldn’t give me 2 because, “That’s not their policy”.

I was very upset and embarrassed because I had my son with me in the car. I tried to explain that I didn’t ask for this, it was offered. She then continued to refuse the other hash brown. I couldn’t understand her saying that it’s not their policy to uphold what was promised to me but I guess it is their policy to not give me what I paid for on 5 different occasions.

Guess I should have checked the bags each and every time and held up the lines. Or maybe complained more. I just didn’t want to be that kind of person.

Either way, my Tuesday morning quick grabs now come from anywhere but there, thanks to the, “Assistant manager” as she called herself.

Got a bunch of food there yesterday morning at the drive through. Got home and they forgot part of the order and the pancakes were like rubber. Called and spoke with a girl who took down our name and said they would replace the food. She remembered us and asked when we would be by to get the part they didn't give us and the replacement for the unsatisfactory pancakes. We told her we couldn't make it back until the following day. Well, we go to get it and there was no note left like she said when she took our names and they wouldn't replace our food without a receipt which we threw away when we're were told it wasn't a problem and she would write it down so they would know the following day. What's better than waking up and going to Tudors for breakfast? That was rhetorical! We all know there's nothing that can replace it other than moms breakfast. Tudors has the best biscuits, period! They literally were voted best in the south! That's one heck of an accomplishment because I've had many good biscuits throughout my travels, but none compare to Tudors, especially the treasured Mary B. Im consistently eating their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese biscuit at least 3 times a week or more. I have literally driven hours out of my way when traveling just to eat their breakfast.
