I want to bring to your attention a deeply concerning experience I had at Mulligan’s Irish Pub, located in Barre, and feel it is my responsibility to share this information for the safety of others. Before crafting this review, I reached out to the restaurant directly to address my concerns, but unfortunately, the response was not satisfactory.
During my recent visit, I discovered metal a shard in the burger I was served, posing a serious risk to my health and safety. Acting responsibly, I immediately contacted the restaurant to express my concerns and seek an explanation.
Despite my efforts, the response lacked the urgency and concern one would expect in such a situation. This prompted me to take further action, and I subsequently contacted both the local health and safety department and the federal authorities to report the incident. It is disheartening that the lack of a thorough investigation and a genuine apology from the restaurant has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the safety of other patrons.
This incident raises serious doubts about the safety standards at Mulligan’s. I strongly discourage dining at this establishment until they address and rectify these safety concerns. The presence of foreign objects in the food signals a lapse in quality control measures.
Furthermore, with the local health and safety department and federal authorities informed, I hope that necessary actions will be taken to address and prevent such incidents in the future.
In the interest of public safety, I find it imperative to share this experience and caution others about the potential risks associated with dining at Mulligan’s. I encourage everyone to prioritize their health and well-being by choosing establishments that prioritize customer safety.
Please exercise caution and reconsider before choosing Mulligan’s for your next...
Read moreWe have been here a bunch of times over the years and usually spend between 100 and 120 plus a 20 percent or more tip based on our service. normally its great service this time not so much our waiter was more ingrosed in the larger tables we ordere our drinks first and some appetizers. i watched our drinks get put up on the counter by the outside bar and we waited and watched while 15 mins went by the waiter reached over our drinks to grab other drinks that were ordered after ours to a larger table of 5 or 6. us a table of 2 got pretty much ignored another person brought out our apps which were good but 20 mins had went by while our drinks sat there on the counter. I watched as he helped 3 other tables. i had started a timer as we were half way through our apps of nachos and wings before he came over and asked if we wanted to order anything else and we had to ask for our drinks that had been siting on the counter for a total of 23 mins now. He ran over and grabbed them, took the rest of our order, and then walked away. Not returning for another 25 mins after somebody else had brought our food out and asked me if i wanted another drink. I had to ask him for the water my wife had ordered now 40 mins prior. He visited our table a total of 4 times in the hr and 10 mins we were there. While i watched him go back to the other bigger tables 8 or 9 times in the same time spand. Again, normally, great service. I dont know if he was new or he just figured a smaller table, less tip less care. It's definitely not the greatest time there, and i was relatively irritated about it. I still tip 20 bucks on our 100 dallor order even though he didn't deserve...
Read moreI don't know who in their right mind decided to do these renovations, but someone deserves a high five. The inside still holds true to the 'Irish pub' atmosphere that Mulligans has always offered, but then there is the new deck that I think will completely change the Mulligans name forever. The bar is now shared between the inside and the outside deck area. The deck is what has always drawn me to this place, and this is where the high five is deserved.... The outdoor area is not something you see in Vermont, its a very southern feel. I sat down outside and felt like I should be on a beach with Tiki torches and white sand around me while a calm breeze drafted through my shirt. There were 4 very bright outdoor TV's broadcasting sports anywhere from baseball to golf. A short while after sunset, the lights came on and this place gave off an ambience unlike any other Vermont bar experience that I have seen. Who wouldn't want to have a date night here? Or even some cold ones with the boys? As per usual the food is 5 out of 5, and now the atmosphere is 5 out of 5. Again, someone deserves a high five!...
