Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Bartlesville

Nothing super great. Ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal and got 5 strips and a tiny little nugget of chicken for the 6th "piece", I took it to the counter and showed them and they replaced it with an actual sized strip without a problem but I shouldn't of had to go up there to begin with. It shouldn't have been sent out they way it was..I also ordered the #7 crispy, no mayo. The chicken was half unedible,, so I lost about half of my sandwich. Seemed to be pretty filthy in the dining room, most tables were dirty and sticky. The store was not busy while I was there. Unfortunately, the food quality at every braums I've been to recently has drastically declined. Which is a shame because I used to know a lady that actually worked on the dairy farms for braums and she said it's nothing like it...

Normally, I would rate it much higher. We went through the drive thru. Had to pull forward to be able to see prices. Someone pulled in behind us, so we couldn't place an order. We pulled up to the window. I told him what happened. So I tried to place the order there. He said I can't take your order. I said this is the drive up window, right? He said you'll have to go around again. That was the 1st mistake. Drove around now we are 3 cars deep, so we wait. Finally, place our order. Drive up yet again and said ok, heres the deal our milkshake machine just went down. I ask is there any way else to make a simple milkshake. He said no sorry. Did offer any superstitions. Best ice cream in the state. Can't be beat. However their new location needs to rethink their new store design and setup relating to their fresh market area. Since the move it has become somewhat of an irritant. At the old location there was always someone available to check you out within a few short minutes on market items. Half the time at the new location the market register is unmanned and forget about getting milk or eggs on a busy evening. You'll find yourself waiting in the ice cream or burger ordering line cooling your heels for 10-15 minutes to get checked out for market items as happened to me this Saturday at 9:00 PM. Market was open and cash register was unmanned. Sad because I do prefer the quality and freshness of...
