This makes the 4th time in a row I have dined in at the Bartlesville Rib Crib and all 4 times I have had cold food served to me. This time I took the food up there myself to the pick up window and asked the manager what does it take to get hot food in here. I told him to feel the meat on my plate that was just served and he frowned and said I'm sorry sir I will speak to my cooks. He then tossed my food and remade my order which was great this time. I am sorry but after 4 times I felt like something needed to be said because the problem sure isn't being fixed. I was a cook for 17 years and if I had sent food out that was at that temp I would had probably gotten written up or sent home. The time before this the other manager had to remake my order because of the same thing.
FOLLOW UP* Well after about 14 tries and several calls to the Corporate Office, it’s plain to see that either this company or franchise owner could care less about people’s complaints. I am a retired cook of 17 years and I know that if you have a ticket with a hamburger and fries and smoked sausage and fries to not make the smoked sausage plate until the hamburger is done cooking or the smoke meat will get cold because it’s only held in a steam table. I have explained this to waitstaff management and cooks and they can’t seem to grasp what I am saying. By the time the burger is made the sausage is cold. Of course it’s going to be hot when you cut it up and put it on the plate. But when it sits there on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes it gets cold. UPDATE: January 16, 2024 This new manager I believe her name is Angelique has this store back up on par. We ate here the other night and requested to the server that my food be hot when served. It’s was hot and fit to eat. I been waiting 4 years for food to come from this kitchen that did taste like it’s been sitting at room temp all day. This little lady is doing a fine job and I let her know about it as we were leaving. She was back there preparing food right along with her cooks. Read moreMy husband has been to this Rib Crib many times and this was my first. He said the food was great but since they've remodeled the place, the service went south. He wasn't kidding! We were taking a couple of friends out to dinner and this was the choice of place. Their servers are young and very unprofessional. Our server in particular thought she was being clever and funny but she was insulting. She hovered over our older guest while she implied that we were slow in deciding what to order, and when it was my turn to order, she let out a big sigh and said "oh geez, really?" like I was holding her up. Jokingly or not, never ever say that to a patron! I was ready to give it back to her but I held my tongue—and her tip! The food was great but we were soured by the attitude of the "children" that were running the place—congregating and not paying attention to the needs of their patrons. My husband said that this was a good place with great service and seasoned servers before the remodel. Sadly, since after the remodel, he doesn't see any of the older servers anymore. Bottom line, if you only care about good food and not so much the service, then this may be the place for you....
Read moreLike many I was staying at the local Hotel and yes I’m from Texas so we will naturally go eat BBQ (pls don’t judge me) be a Patty …. but I do love it :-) food was horrible no smoke rings has the impression that they did it use any wood of any kind - sloppy taste over cooked ribs they just dropped when I picked up the bone no smoke lines - - BBQ sauce was OK…I’m sure is not their own tasted acidic- I did like the Corona beer and the smoked beans - the servant SUNSHINE did a fantastic job asking if everything was ok but I just could not tell her how bad it was - she was very kind and helping just the front desk reception was super rude blond curly hair - when I walked in I had to say hello - she just ignored me and then I had to get her attend again for her to say hello back - a welcome to rib crib would be nice or I’ll be right with y’all - positive people make all the difference- will not go back suggest Dinks BBQ -this place needs more passion and love for the trade - also the suggested tips of 20% value is not 20% but 17.5% - 30.22$ ??
