Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Bartow

I previously primarily went to the local Hungry Howie's here in Bartow because it was close and inexpensive. I knew Marcos was only 2 minutes further down the road, so one day I decided to give them a try. I honestly haven't been back to Hungry Howie's in 5 months. The cost is very comparable in comparison.

But what makes this establishment so steller and why I made this place my go to pizza place is.....

The food, the prices, the cleanliness, the staff is friendly and outgoing and I have not once have had a order wrong. One thing I noticed which I thought was pretty amazing, buying a 16 ounce bottled soft drink here is roughly a dollar cheaper than a convenient store.

My favorite pizza style is their thin crust "The Works" with extra cheese and black olives. I'm pretty sure I order here at least every 7 to 15 days. Everything I have ever ordered has been perfect.

The Pizza is always top notch, the Sandwiches and Salads are fresh and filling, the Breadsticks are always a hit, the Buffalo and Parmisan style wings are addictive and hearty and not dinky....ahem.. I'm talking about you, Hungry Howie's.

Lastly, one of my friends was over recently and I ordered my favorite pie, He said that he had a late lunch and wasn't very hungry.....he ended up having like four slices lol. Then as he was leaving he downloaded the app and placed an order. I think he's a regular now too!

I recommend this place indubitably!

The best thing about this place above everything else, they're so fast. Normally when I place a order through the app, it's usually ready in about 12-15...

I am updating my review. About 4 months ago, we got a pizza that was so greasy. You could tilt the box and fill a small cup with the amount of grease that came off for the pizza. That pizza was a old world, pepperoni and sausage. It was so bad that I took it back to the store the next day. I waited a long time to order pizza again because of the disappointment. However, last night, I ordered a pizza and a sub and Both items Arrived here late 15 minutes later than what they were promised. And they were soggy and rubbery, so it seemed like they spent a lot of time in the delivery sleeve. It wasn't cold when it got here. But like I said, it was the crust was so rubbery. And not what we were looking for we've had nice crispy crust in the past. I've had 2 bad experiences since then. And we will not be ordering again $31. We paid, we tipped nicely, and in the end, we got soggy pizza, soggy crust soggy sub. And we paid extra for A cup of pizza sauce to go with the sub and it was not delivered.

I ordered delivery and the food arrived early, piping hot and fresh. We had the special Peperoni pizza and Italian sub sandwich. Both were SO GOOD! The sub came toasted and was original and delicious! The pepperoni pizza was delicious, still hot from the oven and oh so good, the crust and the spicy pepperoni set it off! As for all pizza establishments it comes down to the heart and soul. The Doug has to be fresh, stretched properly and proportioned well and have pride in it. I'm never dissatisfied with Marcos, if the person making it is just trying to get through an nother day at work you can tell . If the pizza chef is trying to top his/her last masterpiece you can tell. It comes down to the whole team in the stores over all enthusiasm. Sometimes they knock it out of the park. It's a big step above dominoes and pizza hut. You know if a pizza is good half way through the second slice. If you don't finish it and toss it back in the box for your dog or if you crave a third slice . Warning Don't USE UBER EATS.
