I wish I could give this place 0 Stars because that is exactly what it deserves. I recently ordered a birthday cake (ice cream cake to be exact) for my daughters birthday party and let me tell you, it was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. First of all, the cake looked NOTHING like what I had ordered. Colors were all wrong and I am being dead serious when I say this, it looked like a CHILD had made it. They refused to remake the cake stating that their apparent only cake decorator “went on vacation”. Then I requested a refund and they refused saying that they would be losing money since they could not “re sell” my cake. Are you kidding me???? How about your customer that paid a pretty penny for a nice cake and got nothing of what they asked for? It was so ridiculous. I was very upset that my daughter was not going to get the cake I asked for and these people did not give a damn. The manager couldn’t even speak to me HERSELF. She had to relay the message to one of her employees to relay to me. Over all this was a terrible experience and bad customer service. Will never go back again. If you want something done right PLEASE...

Absolutely the worst customer service I have encountered in a long time by the young lady at the ice cream side around 4:20pm 1/27. Terrible! Rude from the moment we walked in. When handing me my ice cream she flipped the top , picked it back up, replaced the whip cream topping, handed me a dirty cup. I had to get napkins to clean it up myself. I was going to tell her don’t worry , did not want anymore but decided to just leave it alone. We went to order a drink by the donut side. The young man was very pleasant and professional. We were still there , drink came out very quickly. The rude pitiful person came back and asked why we were still there, our drink was already called on the other side and rudely told us to go get it . That was my breaking point. Obviously this was our first time, a person with good customer service would have simply handed it to us. When you have people like that working for you all they do is bring down your business. She simply does not care! Find better help. This is the Bastrop location...

I've been in here three times and left two of those times without buying anything. The staff frequently leave you feeling like you're bothering them and seem to favor selling the donuts. This means the ice cream section is frequently left abandoned unless there are absolutely no other customers in the store. The last time I went in I couldn't even get the staff to acknowledge my presence until I called out and asked if they were closing down the ice cream counter. This was after waitinf for fifteen minutes where two other customers who were in line in front of me simply left. In other stores where they sell both donuts and ice cream I've experienced that if they are understaffed and don't have enough business for one counter they may temporarily shut the least busy (read dead) counter down, which was why I asked. They promptly snapped, "No, we're busy!" If I'm going to spend $80+ on frozen treats for my friends and family, I'll take my business where I can get someone to acknowledge me...
