I canāt even begin to tell You How Much I Love this place! The Best boots youāll ever find, anywhere, And believe me, Iām on all the boot sites looking to expand my new and growing collectionā¦. Black Jack and Anderson Beans are always the best and Youāll find them Here! I wish the actual manufacturers did a much better job refilling store shelves, Thereās a lot of boots Iād be placing an order for the day they arrived in, but have been watching the store shelves sit stagnate Because of the times We Live in, And I want to say thatās no fault of the store, itās a shame though Because I wish I could buy More from them! Thereās no doubt this is the best customer service youāll ever find, or need, I Live in Pennsylvania and have ordered twice now, Iām also a well known blogger in our area of Lancaster County and tell Everyone about TXBCO.! I would also like to really commend the customer service I received the other day from Camry, I Believe that was Her name, She was spectacular, This is the kind of Sales Associate You wish you could copy and put in every Single buying situation you come across! I ordered two pairs of jeans that I Loved and she almost immediately after having placed the order online called me personally to say they didnāt have them in stock, She Kindly sent me a picture of what they had and offered me what they had as a replacement in My size! Now THATS someone you want to promote and give the very best career path to you can, she saved the same and single handedly made this experience spectacular! I really canāt even begin to say how shocked I was when she said āIāll send you a text and stay on the phone with you so you can see what We have on hand and Help You find something youāre going to loveā Where else do you find this? Nowhere, Only At Texas Boot company, and thatās why this Pennsylvanian has fallen in Love with something that Heās never even seen and thatās Texas Boot Company! If your looking for inventory on all things Western, you guys have an awesome supply. Love all the options. Here's my beef. You need an overhaul. As a small business owner I get it- running a small business is hard, endless and your never caught up. But your customers need an experience and when walking into your store it lacks just that---AN EXPERIENCE. The carpet if beyond saving and your cowhide rugs are a law suit waiting to happen ( I noticed this was brought up four months ago in a comment and the sales-rep who helped me tripped on the same Ole' Gringo throw rug that I TOO TRIPPED ON). The dressing rooms should make me want to stay longer, instead I didn't want to touch much for it looked like it needed a good cleaning. The staff looked professional, yet they don't intentionally look you in the eye and ask you if you need help. I stood by for a good 2 minutes waiting for a sales person to help me until I finally approached someone and got the help I needed. Be Intentional and all times! Your store has so much potential, it really does. But you need to create an experience and YOU NEED to get excited on having such a cool store. My Recommendations: #1 When you walk in have a trough filled with ice and small waters. It's shows you care from the get go. It's hot and people appreciate the offer. #2 You have purses to the immediate right that you are asking $400- $500 and they are laying on-top of each other as if they were in a Wal-mart. If you want my that much money from me show me that the item is unique and special, not displayed in a heap. #3 New carpet!! Get wild- go with Cheetah, Wild Roses just something that screams chic and exquisite. #4 New Dressing Rooms that an employee is intentionally attending. Large mirrors with Velvet Drapes. You need to make your guest feel like a Rock-star. Your prices should reflect the feeling you want your customers to spend. #5 Make your Check out stand fun with small items that I should be buying. It looks like grandpa's closet. Clean it up and make it the final WOW experience your guest remember. #6 Wrap my $60 blouse in tissue and a nice bag. Instead it was folded and put in a plastic bag......I want my purchase to create a feel good moment so when I get home I get to unwrap it like a Christmas gift to myself. You were no different then a purchase from Tractor Supply. #7 Amazon is after you! After the lack luster experience from your store why would I drive 45 mins when I can sit in-front of my computer!?! You have the power to lure me back time and time again and that is something Amazon can't do.
I'm coming back in 6 months and I totally hope you gather together and create a new game plan. You have the location. You have the product. Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn 5/29/12 I purchased Ariat boots from Texas Boot Co. The soles started separating, called the manufacturer, they said to go back to Texas Boot Co for the warranty. I called Texas Boot Co, asked what was needed, after being put on hold several times, was told bring in proof of purchase and boots. I explained that I did not live in Bastrop, so were you sure that was all I needed, yes. We went down that night, with proof of purchase and boots, the owner Marc Conselman was gardening out front. We walked in and told the saleswoman, she walk outside to speak with Mr. Conselman. She came back inside and stated they couldn't help us. I asked to speak with Mr. Conselman personally since dealing with his dead plants seemed more important to him than his customers. (we had purchased two pairs of boots totally approximately 350.00 dollars, point being, I would think you wanted return business) Mr. Conselman told us that they didn't handle warranty issues for the manufacturers they represent without even looking at the boots, and that a pair of work boots can only be expected to last six months. Then asked us to leave before he called the police because he didn't want confrontation. We were talking, no confrontation, he then walked to the door and told us to leave. My wife was born and raised in Bastrop, and has never had a business treat her like this before. The Texas Boot Company treats you well when you purchase merchandise, but when it comes to consumer service one word "none". Evidently, Mr. Conselman got his ideas of how to conduct business from the big city, where businesses only care about the almighty dollar and customer service is non existent. All this could have been avoided if I had been informed that they didn't handle warranty issues for the manufacturer while I was on the phone with them.
