June 2024 update - bumped it up to 3 stars cause they’ve done well recently

This McDonald’s is the absolute worst! I have had to take multiple breaks from going to this location due to consistent bad experiences. It’s not a once in a while thing, it’s an every single time I go problem. Today I ordered a spicy nugget 10 piece meal. And large Dr Pepper and bacon McDouble on 8/24 at 6:45pm. I ended up getting the wrong drink, no sauce with the nuggets, and my spicy nuggets were partially regular nuggets cause they didn’t have enough for all 10 I assume! plus the fries have clearly been sitting there for 30 minutes + minutes, I worked at McDonald’s and know the taste of old fries, trust me. This McDonald’s is always the worst and never accurate, they always give me nuggets stuck together not cooked all the way too. The person who brought out my parked order was hitting her vape on the way in, like for real? And why was I parked if my fries were still cold and old and my spicy nuggets weren’t complete? Just go to Burger King, I have been there a decent amount and they have always been fresh and accurate

2023 Edit: this place still sucks. My fault for going back though, I ordered a 10 piece spicy nugget and only got 5 spicy nuggets and 5 regular nuggets. I wanted to give a 2nd one star review but google wont let me. Like seriously? It takes 3 and a half minutes to cook fresh nuggets and I waited in line for that amount so why not just...

My father was a corporate executive with McDonald's. He graduated Hamburger U and shared thr details behind the most simple procedures - and the benefits. This afternoon around 3:45, I visited the McDonalds on Hwy 1.

The young man taking drive up orders spoke clearly, patiently, quicky confirmed the same and shared the price clearly. He directed me to the first window where another polite, attentive young man in your staff gave me his prompt attention and quickly took my payment. In closing he offered a "thank you Sir". Whatever that is called on your team, as an organizational development advocate and former McDonald's brat - it says excellence! Where too many McDonald's stores and franchises have relaxed presentation expectations, you guys reminded me of a more customer-friendly drive through experience than typically endured today across many drive thru models.

To the two employees and the crew inside making it happen, kudos folks! I travel weekly from Wells to your north. Ill loop around if necessary for your store every time! Send my thanks!

It's a pretty well run McDonalds, but the prices are SO high now! McDs seems to have forgotten the niche that made them so successful! ("Cheap food fast," right?)

You know that it's gotten out of hand when you can go into a comfortable restaurant (verses your car), and have someone serve you decent, fresh, food, on plates, with silverware, and clean up after you too, for the same prices! (And, they won't do things like *fill your drink cup with 85% ice, forget your napkins, and give you old french fries.)

If someone is smart, they'll start a new chain, with the original, business model, (affordable prices again, for the "every day lay person")) and they'll put McDs and BK out of business.

End note: We noticed that your hot fudge sundays have doubled in price this year too. We won't be getting them any more. Do you see how that was a foolish.move? It's called an "add on" (an upsell) and you just priced yourself right out of it. There are 2 very good, ice cream shops right down the...
