I have to say, giving this place two stars feels like being overly generous. I was drawn to order takeout after seeing their online menu, which looked absolutely fantastic. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I returned to my hotel—a mere three-minute drive away—to unpack my containers of what was supposed to be delicious food. First off, the biscuits were stale to the point of being inedible. I had high hopes, but they were dry and crumbly, lacking any freshness. Then, the chicken tenders I ordered were bizarrely unrecognizable. They appeared more like small chicken legs than the crispy tenders I expected. As for the beignets I thought I was ordering, what I received instead were simply fried dough balls, lacking the fluffy texture and powdered sugar coating that makes beignets so delightful, and unique. To make matters worse, I decided to treat myself to a salted caramel cold brew coffee. Unfortunately, it arrived looking like thick tar and had a taste that was utterly unidentifiable and off-putting. It's frustrating because the company’s website features a mouthwatering image of their biscuit sandwich, which shows a slim patty that looks like sausage under a perfectly fried egg. Little did I know that what I was actually getting instead was yet more chicken tenders. Honestly, how many people actually stop to read the descriptions when they’re traveling? This feels like a clear case of false advertising. In summary, if you’re looking to experience food that will leave you cringing in disappointment, then this is definitely the place for you.

Updated 2nd review 2nd visit... day after Christmas treated my son to bday brunch ordered an egg white lobster omlet.... brought my lobster omlet cold....not even WARM...COLD ... told the waiter.... he brought it back "we put it under the heat lamp for a min...hope that helps....it was Luke warm & the lobster OVERDONE ... not to mention its literally 3 TINY pieces of lobster ... drove 30 min to enjoy a brunch with my son ... he said ...I didn't love it mom.... so I removed 3 stars... should have made me a new omelet... not acceptable.... seafood is not to be heated, especially lobster... also lighten up on the sautéing seasoning, lobster is meant to be indulged with butter & a little salt, the meat is decadent & not meant to be overseaned & hidden in flour. 1st Review: Recently moved to the area, trying new places ... especially In a state that doesn't have "healthier options" in mind ... I was able to have the eggs Benedict, with delicious hand-made crab cakes served over their house grits & the sauce on the side ... cooked to perfection ... YASSSSS .... sooo delicious .... my new go-to bfast spot. ❤️

Lawwwdd, Sunday Brunch was amazing. The three amigos, set out for brunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe. We were created by Germany, very professional, she notified us that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. Germany offered us to review the menu while we waited. Our waitress was Leslie, very professional and kind. Leslie just happened to complete her first full week, great job Leslie. I ordered the pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon for my three year old. He indulged the bacon and pancakes, he is not much of an egg eater. I consumed the French toast, with over easy eggs and bacon. (My bacon went to my three year old and 18yr old.) My daughter ordered the cinnamon roll french toast, she absolutely loved it. We also had two hot chocolates, a chocolate milk and I a lemon blue berry mimosa!!! Great atmosphere, my three year old was a little loud at moments . We will return!!!

We stopped at Another Broken Egg around 8:25AM on 3/18/2024 on our way home (Beaumont) after spending a week in Baton Rouge for a racquetball tournament. We were promptly seated and a nice young lady by the name of Sherron (love that spelling) came to take our drink and food orders. She was quite fast in bringing our coffee and hot chocolate back, but my coffee was less than lukewarm. Sherron continued helping customers, she was working the tables as well as handling request at the bar. I did not want to bother her so as soon as she came and brought our food, I mentioned to her that I my coffee is nowhere near hot and if she would be so kind as to get me another cup. She came back to our table within minutes and my coffee was perfect. She then quickly delivered our food. The food looked amazing and taste even better. Here’s the thing, (and I will admit it may be very small to the readers but extremely big to me). I failed to get the cooks name…but man oh man was I thrilled he got my eggs right!!!! I have been to soooo many restaurants and have found it quite disturbing that no one can seem to get an egg right. So much so that I quit even ordering eggs when I go to a restaurant. They are never done and the yolk of the egg looks a pale dull yellow instead of a bright yellow. Thank you, Sherron, for listening to how I wanted my egg prepared (or by the way it is just an overhard egg/fried egg, trust me nothing I feel like is too complicated), and thank you Mr. Cook (not his last name is is the chef/cook) for making my day brighter. Our breakfast was delicious, served hot and fresh, the portion size was amazing, and the presentation of the food was spectacular. Thank you Another Broken Egg and staff for making our visit a pleasant one. My husband ordered the smores waffles with sausage (oh my goodness that was to die for), with a cup of hot chocolate, and I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast with baked bacon and a cup of coffee. I was quite hungry so failed to take pictures until I had already dug in, but food...
