The location and the design of the room and hotel is very nice. However I was given a room that had no working heat and a toilet that didn't flush. Which I didn’t know until round 10pm that night after finally getting settled in the room went to turn the heat on noticed it was blowing air. I called front desk they sent a maintenance guy up . He came in turned the heat off and told me and my friend that they are working on the heat it doesn’t work in this room and that we should be warm without it long as it’s turned off. The maintenance guy proceeded to tell us that he can’t give us any blankets because laundry didn’t leave them any . Me and my friend was stocked and was considering leaving the hotel then . But instead we stayed to see if the room would get warm without the system being turned on like the maintenance man suggested. Before 12am neither of us used the bathroom so imagine our surprise when we found out the toilet doesn’t flush we had a none working toilet in our room . It never flush the water just comes all the way up like it was gonna run over when you try to flush . I called front desk and the lady that answered the phone informed me that they couldn’t send maintenance because they don’t have anyone there to help after a certain time. I ask for a plunger she said they couldn’t give me one because everything was locked up . So I ask the lady on the phone from front desk can we get another room then and she stated that the hotel was completely booked up their was no more rooms available. I just couldn’t believe that we paid to stay in a room with no working heat and toilet i ask what do we supposed to keep coming down stairs and use the lobby bathroom or something during our stay . That didn’t make any sense I told her and she said she was sorry and it was nothing they could do and I hung up . And called my travel agent because thats who I booked this hotel through. But didn’t get anything accomplish we had to stay there we had no more options.he said he talked to the front desk that night and they said all they could do was let him talk to the manager when they arrived Monday round 9am . today I was told thru my travel agent that they called the hotel today and they Told them that they offered us another room that night and a blanket that night which was false information nobody tried accommodate us at all . I have phone conversation recording to prove that and i would’ve never stayed in a hotel without a working toilet . All I ask that night was for another since they couldn’t seem to fix the toilet or heat and was denied that . The hotel representative rather lie about the situation. Then accommodate me for the trouble experience. All these years I’ve been renting rooms out of town I’ve never had a bad experience until now .i don’t advise no one to stay at this hotel this is how they treat...
Read moreI checked in to the hotel with a smile on my face and was greeted by Ms. Cynthia. She was extremely friendly and pleasant to speak with. I was there for work and would have stayed a minimum of 30 days. However, after more than 6-8 trips of unloading my things. I found the door latch broken, lamp in the living didn't turn on, the toilet water was extremely low. (After flushing it would run for at least 2-3 minutes.) The sink in the bedroom was dripping and the bedding was filthy on some parts, the heat initiallydidnt work for several hours and the room had a smell.
I asked Jonathan (night front desk guy) to see another room. He was not friendly nor accommodating. He refused to let me see another room. I explained that I had A LOT of things and did not want to move. He said maintenance would be up in 15 minutes. After, nearly an hour of waiting I went and observed him talking to another employee. He continued talking even after he knew I was waiting on him. Finally, he turned with an attitude. I asked what was the ETA of maintenance he said "whenever he's done talking here'". In a smart way... I had no idea that was maintenance. Then the maintenance guy said "come on I'll go with you now". He was really nice and friendly. I must add that I went to the front desk twice and twice Johnathan did not acknowledge me right away. Johnathan is the absolute worse person to represent Hilton. I checked out the same night because Johnathan wouldn't let me see another room. Yet he was having conversations with others when I came through. I asked him for his managers number. He said "we don't give out personal numbers." I asked him who asked for a personal number. He had the worse attitude towards me. His boss Andy McGinty advised me he would give me a refund and 30K points. (I'm still waiting.) He informed me that he doesn't get complaints about Jonathan. Well, you have one now !! He did not even acknowledge my feelings. It took me SEVERAL hours to bring my things up to the 8th floor. I spent over 8 hours moving. I didn't check into my new hotel until after 10pm that night. Johnathan could have saved me alot of time that evening by showing me another room or having my issues fixed. I think Johnathan is in the wrong career feel. I also believe he is one of his bosses favorites. Andy McGinty also mentioned that Johnathan wasn't going anywhere. Also', when I checked out Jonathan said he couldn't check me out because he has no rights. He said "I'm the low man on the totem pole. All I do is check people in and hand...
Read moreFor the price of $150-$250 a night, depending on your room type, this hotel needs improvements. It is an older hotel and renovations have been made, but there are some things that are bothersome.
1.) STAFF: A.) The check-in staff was friendly, but please tell me regular guest information upon check-in. 🔴 Do you have breakfast in the morning? 🟣 Do you have Wi-Fi? 🟢 Where are the pool and fitness room located? What are their hours? 🟠 What time is breakfast? What time is room check-out?
B.) The cleaning lady at the pool said she locked up the pool "in 15 minutes." Her time was 9:15p.m. and the pool sign said it stays open until 10:00p.m.
2.) POOL: The pool and jacuzzi's water were both warm. The indoor pool area was nice with lots of seating. There were no guest pool towels. The pool water looked cloudy.
3.) BROKEN ROOM ITEMS: 🔴 The front television does not work. It says, "no signal." We troubleshot the problem, but couldn't fix the issue. Remote control is dirty. 🟣 The cabinet door enclosing the fridge and microwave has a broken hinge. One has to pull up on the cabinet door to close it.
4.) With COVID and safety as concerns, our room would benefit greatly from a deep cleaning, a wrench, and a screwdriver!!!
🔴DIRTY: A.) The tub and toilet both have dirty, "ring-around-the-tub" type buildups. Not sure if this is a stain from the water or if it needs a scrub.
B.) The bathtub faucet also needs some work. The faceplate detached.
🟣DIRTY: A.) The in-room phones and t.v. remotes are disgusting!!! There is a cleansing wipe placed next to these items. WHY? Am I suppose to clean these items myself or are they using this as a precautionary measure? I'D THINK THESE ITEMS SHOULD BE CLEANED REGULARLY!!! See attached pictures.
🟢ROOM LAYOUT: A.) The toilet!!! The toilet is right beside the vanity and a small space of a wall. You might scrape your leg on the vanity. It is hard to reach the toilet paper. It is even harder to flush the handle on the toilet. See attached pictures.
B.) ALSO, MY HUSBAND HAD TO FIX THE TOILET AS THE CHAIN DETACHED FROM THE TOILET'S PLUNGER.
C.) Why is there a sink and mirror in the bedroom and located right beside one of the beds?? Strange.
D.) The lobby and sitting...
