AMAZING! If I had to describe this place with just one word, this would be it, but that description doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what a gem this place is. As we were traveling to the area from out of stte we decided to try something different and this place hit the nail on the head. As soon as you walk in you know you've made the right choice. It is clean, cozy, and elcoming. Then the gentlemna at the counter... oh, he takes the cake! He was charming, well-informed, and caring. He made us feel as if we were talking to a long lost friend, such ease in conversation, laughing, and smiles each time we interaccted with him. Then comes the food. HOLY SMOKES!! This was like a fine dining experience. The Italian Grits were everythign I expected and more and the affagota with the sweet cream gelato... I think I tasted heaven! I would give this place ten stars if I could. If you are in the Baton Rouge area this has to be a stop you put at the top of your list! Thank you for the...

Fantastic panini...!! Amazing staff, delicious homemade limoncello! Wow, what a treat!! We had the Formaggio panino, and the Franco panino.. we forgot yo add the prosciutto, but they were both incredible without it.. they're prepared as if they're made for themselves - lots of love!! It's a shame for us that we live 45 mins away, and this gem of a place is not around us, but we're sure to come back every chance we'll get.. the gentleman that was having breakfast had what seemed to be a traditional American breakfast, and it also looked great! For you that's reading this, and are deciding if, stop. Go. Try. Enjoy. Give feedback, I'm sure yours has got to be great as ours was if not better. The guy (sorry, I should have asked his name!), made the visit that much more enjoyable. Siamo cosƬ felice of having found this...

i’m kind of obsessed with this place. i’ve been coming here a while now and i’ve never tasted anything out of this kitchen that i didn’t love. they have good tea, good coffee, good lunch, good breakfast, and of course good gelato. they have the coziest little atmosphere with games and local art. and i love it when the owners in there he’s so nice! of course so are the other employees. this place is so delicious i didn’t leave a review for the last 5 years bc i didn’t want everyone crowding up my place 🤣 but i have to confess …la divina is a hidden gem in baton rouge. plus my little girl loves this place! she loves the food AND the gelato. she said the gelato is so good she has to close her eyes to savor it šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‹ (i first fell in love with the caprese salad but now i find my self rushing on the weekend to catch...

This place is great. It’s very close to the place where you charge your Tesla vehicle. Since charging takes 15 to 20 minutes, you might not have a lot of time to eat here if you plan to eat here then you might have to unplug your Tesla earlier. This is a restaurant where you sit down, and take your time and enjoy life. You can see that the food I ordered was absolutely spectacular. I met a fabulous friend here, from Baton Rouge. Johnna Crider was a friend of the owner, and somehow they arranged to offer us free ice cream. But I would’ve paid for it anyway. Gelato here is GREAT!! I just can’t get over how friendly the people were here, how clean and comfortable the restaurant was, and how delicious the food tasted. Hope to be back soon. If you go there tell him Gail sent you.šŸ„‚šŸŽ‰

This is my go-to place for a late lunch and quiet place to work. The lighting is nice since it's not directly over the tables and highlights local art displayed on the wall. The Mercato salad is always a tasty choice, with mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, purple onion, sunflower seeds and a yummy, home-made balsamic vinaigrette. I usually add grilled chicken, and I really like that some of the veggies, such as the onion and red peppers, come a little warm on top. The cafe gets busy in waves like most places, but I can usually grab a booth in the back, with a plug-in nearby and free wi-fi. It gets 4 stars rather than 5 because of poor ventilation. When they are grilling, it definitely gets hazy inside.
