TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM MANAGER!!!!
All of my OTHER experiences at this store have been great! I even spent $1000 on Nothing Bundt Cakes and Bundtinis for my wedding last year! (Showed the employees pictures of the cake table while I was in there yesterday) So here's yesterday's experience..
Yesterday, August 15th 2018, on MY BIRTHDAY, I bought a 10" White Chocolate Raspberry (around noon) for my party at work. When I got to work, my coworkers cut into it and started eating. After a few minutes, I cut a piece and smelled LEMON puke ... the only flavor I can't stomach. Everybody makes mistakes, and I have had great customer service previously, so no problem... I'd just call and get them to deliver the correct flavor to me at work.
I called, the manager apologized, then offered me an 8" replacement because we had already cut into it! shocked face How would I have known what kind of cake it was? It was marked White Chocolate Raspberry. She wanted me to stop my coworkers from eating and bring it in the next day in exchange for a smaller replacement. How embarrassing! I told her I would stop them from eating it, if she delivered us another one the same day. She told me they don't do same day delivery... I told her I don't do Lemon Cake. I work 6 miles from the store and there were around 5 employees when I was in there... and not one of them could bring me a cake that I could eat on my birthday? This was not MY mistake...
She finally, after much discussion (and frustration on my part), offered to replace the same size cake I paid for, and let us keep the lemon... which in NO WAY DID I WANT to keep, but could not leave work to get another. Plus, I don't get off in time to pick one up after work (and told her that).
SO I HAD NO BIRTHDAY CAKE ON MY BIRTHDAY!
Guess I'll have to take off work early to get the replacement cake, open it in the store to double check it. I loved this place and had ALWAYS recommended it to people. Guess I'll be checking out other places. Nothing Bundt...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite spot for convenient and delicious cakes, but something has definitely changed. From the moment I entered the store, I could sense the chaos. A visibly upset customer was on the verge of tears because her order was late, causing her to miss her child’s birthday party. That should’ve been my first warning.
When I approached the counter to pick up my prepaid order, the employee rudely informed me, “Your order isn’t until 9:30 AM.” I explained that I arrived early to avoid the exact situation the previous customer experienced, only to be met with indifference. While waiting, another customer came in with the same issue—another late order.
Despite placing and paying for my order a week in advance, I was still waiting well past my scheduled pickup time. Adding insult to injury, the staff seemed unbothered and showed no empathy for the inconvenience they were causing to paying customers.
To make matters worse, after waiting even longer, I was informed by an employee that my order “was being worked on.” Moments later, I discovered they hadn’t started it at all because they never even received my order details. I had to escalate the issue to the manager, and even then, I was still left waiting.
If you’re looking for reliable service for an event, I strongly recommend finding another business. This was a truly disappointing experience.

Read moreI did an online order on Monday May 2nd with a pickup time of 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 3rd. On the website it specifies to arrive at your selected time in order to ensure social distancing. I arrived around 11:35 expecting to walk in, give them my name for the order that I had already paid for, receive my items and leave. I should have been there no longer than 10 minutes. I was told that it would be a few minutes and they would have my order out. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I asked the employee at the counter if she could check on my order. She came back and told me they were icing the cakes and it would be about 10 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes and still did not have my cakes. I was not the only one in there having to wait. One of the employees stated that this was common because of all the holidays happening this week. I feel that this is completely unacceptable especially since the order was done online with a specified time. If the bakery is unable to have cakes ready during a specific time slot, that time should not be available when booking online. The staff did not seem the least bit concerned that we were all inconvenienced by this. It took me nearly 45 minutes to receive an order that should have been ready when I arrived. I will definitely not be ordering from Nothing...
