Today was not my first time at P.F. Chang's. I've eaten there on serveral occasions. My service is usually always nothing short of stellar. Today however, was not a pleasant experience. My server was not very attentive. I know it was a busy time of day, but he seemed extremely preoccupied and we were last on his list of priorities. The appetizer came out in a timely manner. The rest of our food did not. So in addition to waiting nearly 30 minutes for a table the hostess said would just be a few minutes (we wanted to sit outside since the wait inside was 25minutes) we waited about 40 minutes for our food to come out. He did not come to the table to see if everything was going well. Had he done that, he would have known that we would have liked another sauce. We had no small plates, utensils, or napkins with our appetizer. When the food did come out (it wasnt brought by our server, he was very polite), we had nothing to eat with. We sat there about 5mins waiting on our server. I had to go inside and tell him we needed utensils. He provided some promptly. The food wasnt the best. The best part of the shrimp fried rice was the shrimp. It was just really lacking flavor today (even after addin soy sauce). I think I was just more annoyed with the service than anything. Maybe had be been more attentive and not left me thristy my entire visit I wouldn't have left so annoyed. We literally watched a couple that came in ahead of us get their appetizer, main course, sit and chat, food put into boxes, and leave before we ever recieved our entree. I saw more of their server and servers at surrounding...
Read moreI've always wanted to try this restaurant, but maybe I built it up in my mind too much. The food was good, but not great.
The famous green beans.... we could not decide on which one to order so we ordered both the fried and the garlic. Neither were that great and we would not order either again.
I told my wife the frozen bags at Walmart of pfchangs honestly taste better at home.
That bring me to the atmosphere...It might have just been a bad night but they literally try to put too many people in the dining area. We sat as a table of 4 and with one being a 3yr old child. Between being in the way of the orders going to other tables, and other customers walking by, then actually being in everyone's conversation around us, we couldn't even have a conversation at our own table.
PFChangs...Reduce some of the tables and clutter and making people wait for a table is better than piling way to many people in such a small space and creates a terrible atmosphere for your patrons.
We were ready to leave as soon as we ordered. Save your money and eat a bag at home, or just go support a local small business that serves Asian food rather than this...
Read moreI love PF Chang's and was excited to bring my husband here since he's never been. The last time I ate at one was at the Woodlands location and it was fantastic. Service here was great. Our waitress was super attentive and very nice. The food was lacking tho. Some things were great others were not. Dumplings were awesome and had just enough spice. Veggie spring rolls are different than I remember. They weren't good at all and had some sort of pickled vegetable in it? It gave the spring rolls a very tangy taste. I wasn't a fan. The vegetables were also fairly large. I wish they had more cabbage and thinner slices. Jade margarita was delicious. I had the Mongolian beef and white rice. It was a decent portion for the price and the taste was great. Husband had the Mongolian trio which was also good. We also ordered the black pepper chicken with fried rice. This dish wasn't very good. Different than what you usually get from a Chinese restaurant. They also put bean sprouts in their fried rice. We didn't like the taste it gave. And unfortunately, there's a $5 upcharge for fried rice. Not sure we'll be back there are too many good...
