Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Baton Rouge

The WORST!!!! Ordered 2 pizzas at 8:27 on a Friday night, got an email confirmation saying it would be delivered by 9:57. I thought this seemed a bit long, considering we live less than a quarter mile from the place, but I figured it was Friday night, and more than likely they were over-quoting me on the time and it would be here sooner. So at 10:25, still no pizza. I called the location and after being on hold for 10+ minutes, someone finally answered. I was told they had no delivery drivers, they are short staffed.... I am being told this 2 1/2 hours later?!? So very calmly, I said we will just come pick our order up. THEN when I give her my name a third time and re-place my order, I am told "oh we outta stuffed crust". WHEN was I going to get a call about this issue?! So I told her to forget about the order. I was pretty angry at this point, considering it is almost 11:00 and very limited on places that are still opened. THEN I see that my card had already been charged for the pizzas and the delivery. So we take the short drive up to the store where I am told by the team manager "oh the driver had a flat, they didn't tell you that?" So is it the girl on the phone that was lying to me or the girl right in front of me? who knows. Then when I request the refund for the order I am told "well since we already charged your card, we can go ahead and make the stuffed crust pizza for you". ummmmm the fact that i have waited 2 and a half hours for it to be delivered to me and STILL had to drive up to the restaurant doesn't compel you to just make the pizza anyway? So after she issues the refund and has me sign the receipt, I am thinking there will be an apology or something because she said nothing to me, the comment I get instead is "you need...

This is by far the worst Pizza Hut ever to go to. I have given them chance after chance after chance to do better, but they just get worse.. They give you a delivery time for a certain time and an hour later you still don't have your food. When you try to call there, nobody answers the freaking phone. The customer service is horrible. Everything about this place is horrible. I placed an order at 9:30 on Sunday night, and my ETA for delivery was for 10, but at 10:30 still we had not received our order. When I tried to call, of course nobody answered the phone. My son was finally able to reach somebody at the store to cancel the order and we ended up going somewhere else, and all they said was OK..like it was no big deal. And you know they probably didn't even make the order.. they were probably just waiting for somebody to call to cancel it so they wouldn't have to make the delivery (probably because close to closing time).. If they are not gonna deliver after a certain time they need to put that on their website that delivery stops at 7 or whatever because it's not right that they just brush it off like it's nothing. The employees at this Pizza Hut should remember that they are there to deliver excellent customer service and a great food experience so people would want to continue to go back. But this place has done nothing but disappoint customers, & not just me, but a lot of the people that live around this side of town. I won't be returning to Pizza Hut ever again!!! I have promised myself this before, but this time I truly mean it.. this place sucks!!! I wish I could give it 5 NEGATIVE STARS 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡...

Not sure when this started, but I ordered a pizza online with Pizza Hut and found that delivery doesn't start until 9:00 pm...WTH! I'm in bed usually at 9:00 pm during the week. Because hubby and I didn't want to go out after a long day at work, I waited until 8:56 pm and ordered the pizza. I watched the tracker and noticed that they really didn't start making the pizza until 9:03 pm. Plus they now have Door Dash delivering pizza, which is horrible. The delivery people have no respect for the customers. They have left the pizza on the chair right next to the door, and never knocked on the door, or even sent me a text message. I just happened to take out the trash that evening and found our pizza outside sitting in the chair on the porch. Pizza Hut, your service was great when you had YOUR OWN drivers delivering pizza, and I was also able to order pizza before 9:00 pm. I don't care for Poppa John's or the other chain pizza restaurants, but I am seriously thinking about using them. If people have young kids and want to order pizza for dinner, they are expected to stay up late and wait until after 9:00 pm? Who in the world came up with that crazy idea? Go back to the drawing board and rethink these new policies. I'm out, I cannot and will be ordering from you guys again. I like the convenience of delivery, but to wait to order my food at 9:00 pm, that's not convenience, that's an inconvenience for me as a customer! #badmove #pizzahutisgoingtotrash ...
