This place is full of incompetent imbeciles. Lets start with them taking your order. The brains of the people they employ here have no executive function. They can't comprehend listening to a customer and entering their order as you speak. You have to repeat yourself over and over so they can use their finger to tap one by one your order in the slowest possible fashion. I really hope AI takes over the cashiers jobs because its sad how grown-ups can't comprehend or take a simple Popeyes order.
I come to this place often because it is close to my home. They take your order but never put all of the items you order in the bag. If you order anything over 10$ be prepared that items will be missing because my guess the employees can't read the receipt or their screen in the store or their brain is that slow processing they get scared of orders that have more than 3 items.
The never have chicken available. They always have to pull you up. How is that possible when this store is the busiest. Why isn't the manager delegating task to the employees so they know to keep dropping chicken. Its sad they can't keep up with the demand but have the supply in the store.
I came yesterday to order 2 big boxes. I stated my order slow and clear because I understand the employees have an intellectual disability. He still asked for me to go slow and one at a time. I'm sorry you have been working at that Popeyes for quite sometime. You should have the menu in the computer memorized. That way you can quickly capture the customers order and tell them to drive around. Not here at this store. That would be asking to much for them. Then to top it all off. He ask me to donate a 1$ to the kids. No I am not donating. Then he was very forceful in his request about donating. Which lets me know there are incentives in place for the cashier that gets the most donations. I don't think so. Not off my dime. they should be ashamed asking people for donations with their subpar service and food. I asked the guy at the window for one dark big box and one white big box. This imbecile gave me two white big boxes. He even asked me to pull around. If you didn't have dark chicken he could have told me that. Why lie to the customer and pull me up stating you are waiting on chicken?!!
I miss living in New Orleans and going to my favorite Popeyes off South Claiborne. Moving here I can never get a decent Popeyes meal. Prices in our economy have risen and the services at these fast food establishments have declined. I really hope higher level officials at Popeyes take my review into consideration and refine the training at this location to improve customer satisfaction. I will be contacting Corporate about the gentleman I had contact with yesterday at the Popeyes window. I wanna make sure he gets reprimanded for his actions.
If you decide to come here for food be warned that this place performs only when they want to. You will wait an extremely long time for poor quality food. Not to mention the rudeness of the staff as the...
Read moreI wish that there was a way of giving NEGATIVE stars! I love Popeyes; just not at this location. On my first visit, I stopped because it was close to the highway. The location is the only positive aspect of this place. I stopped at 6:15pm (drive thru) and ordered a 2 piece (mild/dark) dinner with French fries and no drink. I was given 2 wings and cold French fries. I had a 2 hour drive ahead of me, so I parked and went inside to have my order corrected. I waited at what I thought was a line, but later saw that it was crew members and friends playing. When my "excuse me" was acknowledged, I explained the order and the MANAGER said "how do I know that you just left or even got that here, our food is hot". Yes, they are quick to argue and slow to listen. I told her yes Mamn, I apologized and left. I have no room for arguments. my job brought me through Baton Rouge again on Jan.4th. This time it was at 11am. Yes, I love Popeyes and thought that maybe if I stopped, I would get a more mature set of employees. I ordered the 3 piece special (drive thru) mild chicken and biscuit. I was charged $5.38 (close to that) I wasn't given a receipt only the food ticket. I gave her my debit card and stopped in the parking lot to make sure that my food was correct and this time it was! While stopped, I checked my debit card balance (I needed gas) and saw the charge: It should have been $3.99 plus tax. Well, I went back into the store and pointed the error out to the manager. She immediately asked for my receipt and I told her that I wasn't given one, but I had my electronic debit from my account to show. She took my ticket and saw the crew members and shouted to her the situation and said that I said that I wasn't given a receipt. Of course, the girl working the drive thru was ready to argue and argue she did give me the receipt, she never not give a receipt. I then told the manager never mind and she said let me call my manager. Still saying its alright and never mind, she comes from behind the counter and call a manager and explains it all over again, all while other customers were waiting for service. I could not have been more embarrassed. While she was on the phone, I asked for the receipt, apologized for inconveniencing them and left, NEVER to return again! Again, this Popeyes is in a great location, but I would FIRE all of the employees (managers and crew members) and start anew, hiring ALL NEW employees and having them take ETHICS and INTERIGHY classes. I do...
Read moreAWFUL EXPERIENCE! RUDE WINDOW WORKER. I placed my order online to save myself from having to wait in the drive thru line on a Friday night. I placed my order at 7:20 PM and got there at 8:30. I figured my food would probably just be a little cold since I took so long to get there. The line was around the building, so I parked to walk in. The door was locked, drive through only. I got in the drive thru line. Around 8:40, I was at the speaker. At first the woman said she didn’t have my order. Then she said my order wasn’t ready. I mentioned that I’d placed my order over an hour ago. She rudely told me “Well ma’am, I didn’t know you were here! Did you let the person at the window know you were here?” I said “I’ve been waiting in line!” She, again, rudely told me “Well, ma’am, I didn’t know! There’s a wait on chicken, so I’m going to need you to pull into a parking spot and we’ll get your food out as soon as we can.” Then she stuck the top half of her body out, held her hands together, and watched me drive around the building to park. (I believe she had Ronald McDonald red hair.) I sat in the parking lot for 25 minutes, watching the door and several vehicles place orders and leave. I got back in line. 10 minutes later, I was at the speaker again and told them I was checking the status of my mobile order. SHE TELLS ME THEY WERE IN THE PARKING LOT LOOKING FOR ME AND I WASNT THERE! I drive up to the window and see the girl on the window side of the building with my food. If there is parking on both sides, and the girl WATCHED me drive around the building, WHY NOT CHECK BOTH SIDES OF THE BUILDING???
I completely understand that a lot of places are short handed right now, but the attitude right off the bat was...
