If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed an online pick up order for Target on Siegen Ln in Baton Rouge, LA and prepaid for my daughters birthday present and a few other birthday things. I’m a single mom and had to borrow the funds for this order . I live in Zachary La and work in Baton Rouge, so I’m only able to shop Target on my hr lunch break. When I got there, the team member apologized that the item was not in stock and they refunded me. I went inside to find a replacement item and found 3 of the “ out of stock items.” I went to the service desk, and was asked to “ purchase the item again by the same team member who told me the item was out of stock. I explained to the team member that I had already paid for the item and she said I would have to purchase it again because the team member that gathered the order “ canceled” it . I asked for a supervisor who called over another supervisor. She asked when I placed the order suggesting it may have come in after the order was filled. I told her the order was placed this morning and she said she would talk to the team member who placed the order. I explained to Toni that I didn’t have the money in my account because the original order has already drafted. Toni said there was nothing she could do and I could not have the item. I asked for the store manager and was told he was not there. My daughter’s birthday is tomorrow and I do not have a gift for her as this was my only way to purchase it. Each person kept saying “ I’ll talk to the team member that cancelled it” but no one looked for an option to solve the issue. Now I have to explain to my 7 year old why she won’t have a gift ON her birthday and will have to wait 3-5 business days for the refund to go through. I was also late returning to work because I had to go inside and find the item and spent way too much time looking for resolution that would never come. Where was the customer service? Where was the human element? I can’t afford to pay for Target’s mistake and my daughter will be very disappointed on...
Read moreI will never go to this target again! I tried once again to give this place a shot yesterday. I didn't even go into shop I ordered what I needed online it was one piece of piece of clothing, a baithing suit. I waited almost 20 minutes behind several of their families just to pick up my order that was already paid for. I finally get up to the front I give her my ID show her my order even. And then another woman who had just gotten into the store who had just walked up to the line walks up and says she has a pickup order to and then proceeded to talk to the employee that was getting my bathing suit for several minutes asking questions and this and that. It was going on for so long that I finally out of frustration said excuse me but I have been waiting here and I would like you to get my bathing suit so I can be on my way. She's in goes to the back gets all the other items The Other Woman ordered. Then finally finds mine and brings it to me. When she opened up the bag the bathing suit was inside out from someone that had tried it on, I couldn't even find the tag it was so frustrating. I should have been able to get in and out of there right away, if they want to let people come up and pick up their orders then maybe one of the three other employees that was just wandering around that area that wasn't doing anything could have helped us. And there was a manager right beside us the whole time that didn't care and wasn't doing anything and was helping the same person for the last 15 minutes. This place has the worst workers, I have already had problems with not being able to find anything because everything is so disorganized and dirty. Oh and this was also the third time I ordered this bathing suit. The first time I ordered it online it didn't even show up, second time I ordered it on a Wednesday evening they put it back on a Friday evening because I didn't get there quick enough, when I showed up on a Saturday to get it. This must be the worst...
Read moreThere is literally one helpful and properly trained employee (Luis) at this location that seems to ALWAYS be the one to step in a help solve problems. I've seen him helping multiple employees and customers at the same time while waiting for my pick up orders and he's been the one to show up the two times I've needed help while checking out (so far all the cashiers have been friendly also) and he deserves some kind of promotion or raise because otherwise getting assistance is abysmal. Yesterday I was told by an employee at guest services that manufacturer rebate checks are not allowed (like Similac formula) and there was not even a button on the screen for it anymore - even though we could clearly see the button was present and had used a rebate check successfully (it was run normally and not entered as a coupon or a dollar discount) there less than 48hrs prior. When I told her that, she said "well it changed like two days ago" and didn't even attempt to help us even though the target WEBSITE currently says they accept rebate checks from manufacturers. I asked an employee I know at another location if this was a new change and they said no, Target still accepts these. I went back today (10/09) after Target's customer service line confirmed the store should have taken the rebate checks with no issue and I suppose I got lucky because my cashier wasn't sure how to input the rebate and paged Luis who showed her how to run the checks through the system with the rebate check prompt and it worked on the first try with no issues from the system. He had such a positive attitude and made sure I was signed up for circle (I have a circle card & 360 already) and is quite literally the only reason I'm still willing to shop at this...
