Gull Lake Distilling Company — Restaurant in Battle Creek

Never want to leave a disappointing review but we arrived on a Friday at 5:30. Sat at a table and waited 10min to even be acknowledged. Ordered drinks and apps. On our second round of drinks we waited for about 30 min until the server in training asked if we wanted another round. Politely told her we would like the round we never received. Ordered dinner and 2 dishes came out. Wings and an olive burger. Burger was cooked like a hockey puck and had one olive and a smear of a sauce. The 2 Mac and cheese plates came out 20 min later ice cold. Talk to our server and she said they would remake them. Another 40min later we received our remade food. The manager said the kitchen was short staffed and comped our Mac and cheese dinners. I know others in the restaurant were trying to be understanding about the long wait for food and drinks. I wish nothing for the best for new/small businesses but found this experience...

Waited 45 mins for a single wrap, our bartender couldn't even get her own stuff to serve us, had to wait for silverware and ask the other person to do her stuff for her Do...

Excellent mac and cheese along with the best old fashioned i've had from a bar in the area! Very cool...
