Let’s have lunch in the new restaurant in the new hotel! #restaurant #hotel #doubletreebyhilton #lunch #fyp

Upon arrival this hotel seemed to be luxurious, however, this immediately took a turn. There was dried blood on the sheets, the guy in the front said there was a complimentary breakfast (as there was most definitely not) the restaurant had overpriced food with subpar quality, a starbucks coffee company was the providing coffee bar (which should tell you more about this establishment) , the room was not sound proof, the shower door was not fully operational, the carpet in the room smelled and was wet, i had to pay for parking and expected a secure building to leave my vehicle however the gate is open 24/7 without the need of an access card. Charged $250 for the night. This place is a sham. The 16.9 fl oz purified bottled water (nestle company) in the room costs $3 along with whatever other hidden fees for coffee and what not if you use the items placed within your quarters. I am extremely dissatisfied and i would recommend that you find something other than this place. Ridiculous.

I had been wanting to stay at this hotel since I heard it was going to become a Doubletree. Last nights snowstorm made me get here later than expected. Checked in a little after midnight (12/11-12/12). The young lady at the front desk was very unpleasant , thought i was checking into the Baymont off the Highway. Didn’t offer a cookie, Not even a Gold Member Recognition or room Upgrade. Also, $14 Parking is not included in stay and there is NO PUBLIC PARKING in the Area. At checkout, I voiced my dissatisfaction to Gabby who was Wonderful and Very Apologetic for my check in experience, which is the only reason why i gave 3 stars instead of one. First impressions mean a lot, and they can change your entire experience. Overall Hotel is Beautiful and Clean, Parking and Overnight Staff is a deal breaker for me. Would i stay here again? Probably Not.

Here is a list of our issues Arrived as a family of 4 to NO room. As it somehow had us arriving the day before and had us as a "no show". Even though we arrived with 19 other families for the same reservation. We had booked a two queen room. They managed to accommodate the mistake with two king bedrooms on two separate floors. With the 2nd room comped. Waited an hour for one room to be cleaned before we got in it when we were told 15 min. 4.then waited another hour for the other room First room TV and Fridge didn't work. My husband had to use his tools to remove a wall cover that was hiding the outlet to reset the GFCI outlet to turn everything on. Seems it was never reset after installation. Shower still had someone else's hair in it. We got "checked out" of our comped room the next day, keys didn't work when we tried going in, so we had to deal with "checking in" again. Husband had to fix someone else's GFCI outlet in their room, since they had the same issues we had They called for help twice and both times were told someone would be right up, with no one ever coming. Our lock on our room stopped working and they wanted to move our room (even though we were already one floor away from the rest of our family. We opted to leave the deadbolt locked to keep the door from closing since we had to check out the next day. Since our room was checked out the day early, cleaning wasn't coming to help. Elevator struggled to accept the keys to get us to our needed floor. We were charged room fee as the no show... it was supposed to get refunded. But we found to went from pending in our account to a full debit of our account. Our bill should have originally been $675, but we have a total of $855 charged. After the complaints, we should have been billed $482. Yet, at this time, all charged are still sitting at $855. My husband attempted to dispute the discrepancies, and nothing was done I went back down for a 2nd conversation, which shouldn't have been needed....and got them to find the issue.

All in all, do better. I'm upset to have to pay a dime towards this place! We had MANY other issues within our organizations stay as well.

The only good part about the stay was our server and the food at Alloy, the server was amazing! I thought I heard her say her name was Misha, my husband thought it was Genisha. Whatever her name was, she's...

This review is based on only the experiences that I have had. First of all you have to consider the area in which the Double Tree is located , in the middle of downtown Battle Creek Michigan. Battle Creek is a very small undeveloped town , but !they are making a wonderful effort in being a leader in development and entertainment as well as growth in the city. As for the restaurant on the top floor the view is Wonderful during the day and spectacular at night great ambience , and a reel vibe The drinks are great , and the food is really good. The downstairs restaurant is equally as impressive, no complaints there. But the most recent Avent I had the privilege to attend was a mother's day brunch that was lacking to my standards, I've eaten at double tree brunches in other states many times before, so that is why I inquired about it at the battle Creek location. Although I take in consideration that this was the battle Creek' s location first time doing a brunch, this is what I thought could have been better , advertising for starters , more choices in side dishes like pausta salads or rice Pork tenderloin was overcooked it doesn't take a lot to push a thermometer into the meat to check for a perfect Temp, dessert station was almost non-existent, no cake no pie I'm not cheap by any means but I felt like the alcohol drink station could have been thrown in for $ 60.00 a person charge and why were there no flowers for the mothers, that could have been an added touch to make them feel more welcomed. And with that being said I do applaud you Double Tree for your efforts, but let's try and do better next year. Thank you for the experience...

I have never experienced the worst customer service ever. We have been members of doubletree for 3 years now. Every hotel we have stayed at has been amazing, I ordered a room 3 weeks prior to the arrival date. I called Monday and got two room numbers and to make sure we had connecting rooms, (it was the same rude and unprofessional lady as today) she gave me 1201 and 1203 as a connector. She told me my room was ready and the other one was still being cleaned at almost 5pm. I told her I paid for a connecting room and she said “I didn’t say they weren’t connected, I just said one wasn’t clean” I got to my room and they weren’t conneting. Her story now is they don’t promise connecting rooms they just ask on the website what we wanted. Paying for a room 3 weeks in advance doesn’t do any good bc they give out rooms how they want. She told me I can go elsewhere, get a refund or take the two rooms. I asked the Guy for corporates telephone number he told he didn’t know it off the top of his head and I can google it. I will NEVER in my life stay here again. This town has the most horrible customer service and wonderful why we can’t have anything nice. So much for my son’s 13th bday. I paid so my sons friends can be together not divided. Went to take a shower and there was someone else hair all over the shower room, outlets didn’t work in our second room, Took my kids to the pool they didn’t allow pool toys No chocolate chips cookies They don’t have continental breakfast

This hotel won’t last.

Oh and $14 extra dollars for parking. They dont tell you that when booking, they take it out when you pay the security deposit. Which makes no...
